This is a fun little quiet town to spend a casual afternoon. There are plenty of little shops and unique stops along the main road. I got lost in some of the nostalgia. Gardens full of unique flowers and great ideas for recycling materials into art. People are all warm and welcoming. If you ever pass through Old Orcutt, stop and smell the flowers, have a glass of wine or local brew, and enjoy the slower pace that is an pleasant find in California.

This place is getting it together. Just did a walk through and this owner is pretty cool. He was shiwing me the new plans for the deli and how much more is coming. A couple came in and pitched their new hot sauce. It is now on the shelves. What a great guy. Even if you dont live in Orcutt, you should check this place out. Give it a couple months and that deli should be open.

Love our local market! Great place to go for beer, liquor and wine…not to mention produce when I don’t want to go to a large grocery store. Convenience is key. Sam and everyone who works there always makes great conversation. Always looking out for our family and offering the best customer service. Pleasure to have in our community!

I have lived here for over 50 years. I have seen Old Town Market go through a lot of changes. The newest people are wonderful. Sam, the manager, his Aunt and the whole family are friendly, knowledgeable and polite. Sam has come behind the counter to help me select the perfect bottle of wine. It’s a great little shop to have here in Old Orcutt. I feel lucky to have that “small town” vibe and welcomed every time I stop by.

Sam is the absolute best!! Everytime I walk in the door he gives me the best greeting with a huge smile! Really one of the nicest guys and is always so helpful! He has a way to make you feel so welcome and if there is something they might not carry at the store he will make sure they have it for the next time you come in. I will always go to Old Town Market before the big grocery store just so I can support this local business run by an amazing manager!! Thank you Sam for always making my day brighter and better!

I think the manager(Sam) is awesome! He is always in a great mood and is willing to help everyone with any question they throw at him. He brings such an awesome attitude to the small town of Orcutt. I am so grateful that this family has taken control of this spot and kept this place a market for the people of Orcutt instead of what the other group wanted to do with it(Cannabis shop). I will continue to support this location and tell everyone to shop at Old Town Market.

I absolutely love this market. I’m in there almost daily. Sammy, Hala, and Alex are always kind and go out of their way to make sure whoever is in there feels at home. They learn everybody’s name who comes in to shop and makes it feel how a small town market should. Best place to shop anywhere around.
