The place has a nice amount of classic games. I enjoy how the past is represented, even if it makes me slightly sad. The display grabs me quite well. It reminds me of another decade. 2014 was 10 years ago? I

I just wanted to say that George is the man to go to if you want to get back into nostalgic gaming! He was the only owner out of 7 shops I called across IE and OC willing to strike some deals.

Everything there was reasonably priced and at market value if not cheaper than the market. I ended up getting a Japanese N64, 7 games, 4 controllers, a GameCube with 2 controllers and 2 games, and some converters. I won't say how much it was supposed to cost vs how much I actually paid, but I will say it was a great enough deal to make a lifetime customer out of me and that I will always come back to George now on future purchases.

He also has some really niced boxed consoles and boxes games that are pretty rare..I will definitely be saving up for those if I go into the collecting route.

Just finished hooking up everything and both systems work! (Haven't tried the extra controllers and all N64 games yet, but I got to get to bed and will save for another day).

Thanks again George, you really brought back some good memories my man!

Was on holidays from Australia and spent the day visiting all the retro gaming stores I could find in LA, and I can honestly say this was the best store of all of them. George (the owner) has a great little stall in this 'flea market' style mall. The collection of retro gaming here us second to none, with some really rare and highly sought after games and consoles.
I got a really great deal and purchased 2 Game and Watch handheld, one DK and the other was a mint-in-box Fire.
George's knowledge of gaming was second to none and he was happy to sell some of his prized possessions to a collector like me.
Don't mess around with other gaming shops in LA, just go and see George at OC Retro Gaming, you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to come back to LA and visit again!

Very pleasantly surprised by this location! Me and my parents are just out here on vacation, and my dad was looking for retro game stores. We were very lucky to find this store. George and his family were friendly, the prices for his items were very good considering the average price for a lot of the things he has there. Got a copy of Megaman Zero 2 and am very happy with what I have. Had some awesome conversation too! He gave me some great tips for when I'm buying retro games... I'll definitely have to keep those in mind, haha. Overall, I definitely recommend this store if you're looking for some rare retro stuff for good prices! Thank you George!

I am from Canada I was on a business trip I went to this cool little store and I was impressed when. I saw a lot of systems in boxes wow from a few stores near by this was the only one that had more retro stuff plus Alex was super nice totally recommend it

Don't expect to pay market price on anything. Anything with a slight amount of demand is being sold way above market price. Saw a game going for $65 everyday on eBay being sold here for $110. It's very scummy. I get that a retail store needs to mark up some things but this was beyond mark up here. A Mountain Dew OG Xbox that goes for around $550-$700. He had two both individually priced at $1000. The prices are insane. It's like they are trying to collect not sell.

I just left this place and let me tell you is small shop but this guys have it all at great prices from high end games to cheap games anything u need they have it great customer service Alex was very helpful will definitely recommend this shop

I was visiting from Texas found this shop and let me tell you George and Alex has from 1 dollar games to high end games so next time am back in Cali definitely will be back got a deal and totally recommend it prices are great too
