Oasis Restaurant offers a pleasant escape with friendly bartenders, adding to the overall ambiance. However, the food is just average, and the menu options could be improved. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the behavior of one bartender. When I asked for a coffee, he responded with an unnecessary outburst. On a subsequent visit with my 5-year-old child, I asked for some chips and received another round of yelling, with the bartender also admonishing me for walking around. This rudeness significantly dampened my satisfaction and turned what should have been a pleasant Saturday afternoon into a disappointing experience.

Five stars for the view, but only 2 for the food. Drinks are decent, but overpriced. Be prepared to wait in line if you're planning on going there in a pretty day to watch the sunset. Sunday is salsa day, which is really fun to watch.

Had a blast. The restaurant is very romantic and picturesque yet can get crowded. The view is one to remember if you sit near the balcony. I think the food is a tad bit overpriced but still a good place to visit.

View is amazing. Food is okay, but GO ANYWAY, the view really is THAT FABULOUS. I've sampled the menu extensively and I can highly recommend the Nachos. Stick with the Nachos and Margaritas and focus on the enjoying the sunset.

Everyone who visits Lake Travis in Austin must go to the Oasis. The view is second to none. Live entertainment most nights makes for a fun night out. The food is okay. I tend to stick with burgers or snacks, but the margaritas are great. It is a bit pricey for what you get, but the view makes it worth the extra money. I always have a great time when I'm there. Give it a try next time you're in Austin.
