Coolest hobby shop I’ve seen. Great prices, good service, and things I have not seen in a long time. Vintage models, knives, collector hot wheels, tools, etc.. Not to mention lots of RC cars, planes, etc., etc.

Bought a nitro rc car was told it ran. After replacing the carburetor and one way bearing, it runs but leaks from the front and rear bearings. After disassembly I found there’s chunks missing from the piston 😡

Very nice little hobby shop that carries almost all the brands. I've been in a few times to grab parts and they have a good stock. If it's not in stock almost always able to order it. Whenever I need something I always check here first before ordering online. When something breaks I always want to fix my stuff asap.

If I knew the return policy was that I could never return after the box was opened, I would not have bought from North Bay Hobby. Come to think of it he was the one who opened the box at the shop. I spent 700 on an rc car, couple batteries, and charger. I started to charge the battery at home and it exploded, blowing up both the charger and the charging station. I did follow the instructions in the package on how to do the charging and luckily I was not standing next it and it was outside. I called to return the car but he said no returns and he would only work with me to resell since it is a used car. I never got to play with car and do not feel comfortable to charge another battery. Due to the lack of information given to me, the disregard of care for the product malfunctioning, and the lack of customer service I will never shop here again or recommend.
