Here, we found not only sustenance but wisdom, brought forth by Gunter Ternes—the owner, a man of insight, humor, and kindness, weaving stories that linger like the aroma of his crafted dishes.

Our three visits were a series of surprises. The vegan burger, unique each time with its shifting essence, and the side salad, reflecting the earth’s changing seasons, reminded us of life’s beautiful impermanence. Twice we enjoyed fruit smoothies, vibrant and refreshing, and twice we delighted in the vegan cake, each slice a sweet tribute to simplicity.

This place is truly wonderful. From the fresh healthy food to the service, it’s a great place for any vegetarian/vegan or not. The soup of the day is always excellent and I walk away feeling nourished and energized. They are very particular as to what ingredients go into their food and mindful to keep it clean, healthy and still delicious. Try the coconut yogurt!!

The yogurt is amazing. I do not even like coconut yogurt but this was off the charts. Food was awesome. I had a lovely salad with a fermented yogurt dressing and fermented veggies. The taste was amazing and I felt great after. Service was awesome and we learned so much about fermenting! Lovely people 100% recommend that you should stop in.

This place rocks! We stopped on our way from SF to LA for the amazing coconut yogurt and fermented bread.. so good! I cannot eat bread, but this bread made us feel great!!! Excellent service as well, also had a vegan burger, raw soup and falafel ..all AMAZING!

Small storefront with easy parking. Food was in the refrigerator when I arrived and not much left. I had a salad with a vegan sandwich. They also had just baked their seeded “bread.” The bread had a very different consistency and texture than I’m used to but it’s pretty tasty. Sandwich was okay but didn’t have enough hummus.
The salad was okay. Came with a flower. Wouldn’t get it again but appreciate the imaginative vegan dishes.

Staff was very friendly and nice but like most places in right winged SlO county, they weren’t wearing masks despite the out-of-control cases and the fact the SLO Department of Health’s mask recommendation for a high transmission area. Typical for Arroyo Grande.

I wanted to update my last review having just had lunch here yesterday. We had the veggie burger and smoothies, both hearty, fantastic, and super healthy. I live up north and drove down just to eat here—It’s such a blessing to have a place where the owners totally get what healthy eating is all about. Don’t hesitate to come and support New Earth Superfoods—eat a great meal, and chat with the knowledgeable owners. What a pleasure!

Highly recommend, very healthy, colorful well presented food that will fill you up! Everything was full of flavor. The owners and cook were so friendly. A wonderful experience for raw vegan and superfoods. I'm so happy I found a place that caters to raw vegan food. Will be returning!!!

A MUST! This place deserves a Michelin star. The pizza is simply outstanding. Desserts too! The flavors are perfectly balanced, rejuvenating, and satiating. The probiotic cheese is spectacular. Checks all my lists organic, vegan, and GF. My mind is still blown as I’m writing this
