I was in SF for vacation this week and stopped in here just as my baby was starting to fuss. Besides having an array of beautiful and practical baby and parenting items for sale, they also generously let me sit down in a relaxing glider while I fed my baby, offered to fill up my water bottle for me while I nursed, and invited me to the new parent happy hour that was happening while I was there. It was such a warm and welcoming space and my only regret is that I don’t live closer to keep coming back!

Found Natural resources postpartum when looking for a place to rent a hospital grade pump and ended up finding a supportive community through the weekly new parent circle! I now tell any pregnant or expecting parent to go to natural resources for all the things! Seriously such an amazing place that I wish existed in every city I have loved ones with children!

I became a member when I was pregnant at the recommendation of both my therapist and midwife. I took the birthprep, chest/ breastfeeding, and newborn care classes which were all great ESPECIALLY the chest/breast feeding with Amy Clark, and the birth prep with Reise! I love that the lactation support circles are free for members and pregnant folks. But the REAL reason I came to write a review is this: Last Thursday evening I was meeting a pregnant friend in the neighborhood with my 5 month old. We chatted for a couple of hours on all things new parenthood etc. I nursed my babe they napped in my arms and then all of a sudden it was quarter to 6 and I needed a place to change my baby and go to the bathroom myself. After that was done, baby was starting to get fussy and was hungry again. It was 5 mins to 6p and they were about to close. I think their name was Bobbie, but they asked my fussy baby, "what's wrong?" I replied, "they're hungry, but we're almost home." They offered for me to nurse bc they had "at least 30 mins of work to do to close out." So I sat in the VERY comfy glider chair and my baby nursed, I had a snack, and we left 25 mins or so later. I am so grateful for this space, the education, and the way I always feel welcome there! Oh.... Did I mention that another worker offered me water while I was nursing?!? Such hospitality and generosity! I'm looking forward to the adult/ infant CPR class that they're hosting this coming weekend too. What a gem of a resource in SF! They say it takes a village and it really does! Thank you! I'm so grateful!

Natural Resources is an amazing source of support, knowledge, community, and awesome pregnancy/postpartum supplies. It's worth it to become a member to get a discount on their classes and any merchandise you purchase in the store -- the annual fee is a steal for the perks you receive! I'd highly recommend Natural Resources for any expecting or new parents to be part of an inclusive, welcoming and vibrant community that connects you to other parents and to professionals (lactation consultants, estate planning professionals, etc.) who make the parenting journey just a little easier.

We've benefitted from newborn care and infant first aid classes at Natural Resources and were blown away by how well organized, warm and inclusive they felt. Their store is incredible too, they carry high quality products for pregnancy, the newborn stage and beyond.

Best baby store and support center in the city. Fantastic place to take classes related to pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting, (they even offer doula courses.) Also has a small store which offers many unique products for baby, pregnancy and postpartum you can't find anywhere else in SF.

Staff is knowledgeable and supportive, and completely fine with you just stopping by to nurse, change a diaper, use the restroom, have some water or a snack, weigh your newborn, or ask a question. Highly recommend this as a resource for new parents.
