Modern Airsoft Park at Alpine - Alpine, California

I've been to this field several times and had great experiences. Today my cousin paid for all day air to fill his new 4500 psi tank. They have a 3000 and 4500 psi station, unfortunately the 4500 station only filled his tank to 3100 psi. The station attendant was nearby and my cousin let him know that it was not topping up his tank. The attendant responded, "I couldn't care less to switch the tanks." My cousin is young and didn't know how to react, he walked back over to us and let us know what happened. We accompanied him back over to the station and explained that we are leaving and would like to fill the tank, which is the service we paid for. He began arguing why we didn't need to fill the tank to the rated pressure, we listened but continued to ask for the service we paid for. We finally had to escalate the situation to his manager who stepped in and did what the attendant was unwilling to do. We won't be back. The attendant's name is Caleb, I recommend steering clear of him if you decide to visit this field, his attitude towards customers is completely unacceptable.
This field just raised their prices as well, the air at Giant is free and it's $6 less a day. Save time, money and the headache at Giant.

The absolute best airsoft field in Southern California.

The fields themselves have a diverse mix of medium to large size AO's. The only field type Alpine does not have is some kind of CQB layout. Whether is an open hill focused field with bunkers throughout, dirt mound style, or a forest with active creeks running through it, this park has it. The fields have a perfect amount of variety where you never have a game that you aren't looking forward to playing or a game that feels repetitive.

The staff at Alpine is really what stands out. In particular, Jon, really shines through with a passion for the game that comes out every time I go to this park. You can tell that the people that work here enjoy showing up for their job and the customers at the field. The refs are fair and will always find a solution to any conflicts that might arise. I can't say enough good things about the treatment we've received from the staff here. They have even gone out of their way to say hi to us when they run into us at larger milsim events.

The facilities are always clean and the fields themselves are well maintained. The other key differentiating factor for this field is the rate of play. Other fields we have played at can have up to 1 or 1.5 hour long waits between playing sets of games. Alpine consistently has 15-20 minutes between games and you never feel like you're sitting around or the staff is just doing their own thing without a regard for the people wanting to play.

All of these culminate in the best airsoft field I have been to so far. I can't recommend this field enough for players of all skill levels and ages. Thank you to all the staff of Modern Airsoft and we look forward to giving you more of our business.

Disappointing experience.
Do not use the rentals, Don’t expect a refund either. No one qualified to speak to can be found. And when you do expect to be told that it’s “company policy” and you won’t be given a refund. It’s company policy for you to pay for faulty equipment.

This is my first time trying airsoft. But not even a partial refund for some broken gear is irritating

Staff/refs were cool and understanding. As were all the other players.

The staff was ok, the maps are cool but favored the team with the high ground. My only issue were the immature kids shooting their friends as we walked to the fields and the lack of safety.

Best place to play airsoft in the southwest. I live out of state but I regularly travel to play here because of how good the staff is. Reasonable prices in the pro shop if you need to pick up some gear or bbs. You don't have to pay to have them charge your battery for you if it goes down. Refs cycle through various game modes and try to keep things fresh while also balancing teams. You can start loading in at 8:30am games usually start around 10am and will all end by 4pm

Great staff, great experience. My only downside are the available maps. The maps are on hilly terrain so you'll have to climb a bit to get to good positions. If you're ok with that, then I highly recommend this place!
