There is no comfort like your local comicbook store! I haven't been hyped about a comic series since Y the Last Man, and the owner kindly recommended series I might enjoy in that type. (Which I have promptly forgotten the titles of. Yay). I was also curious about the Fight Club graphic novels, and he liked those, too. I trust his taste! Next comic shopping spree MUST be here!

It’s been my store since moving to the Bay Area and continues to be even though I now am in Oakland.

I think this is the best comic shop in SF. They have tons of graphic novels, weekly comics, back issues, games and action figures. The staff is also awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

I think my friends Lenard and Sheldon would love this store, they have the latest comic books and some older ones too. I also like some of the superheroes customs, I think my friend Sheldon had the same Flash outfit.

I would give this place 5 stars if the person working the register wasn't so rude. She always acts like I'm interrupting her reading or using her phone/ipad. The level of grumpiness is wild. Everyone else that works there is pretty nice, so when I walk in and see her it makes me want to do a 180 and leave.

They just upgraded the look ands it’s pretty awesome. Plenty of comics, graphic novels and cool toys. Also one of the first shops to have enamel pins from local artist! Owner is cool as hell, he introduced to the Saga series! I believe they also do pop ups and they are involved with the community! Big ups!!!

Founded in 2009, one of S.F's best comics shops. Dedicated area for kid-friendly comics, Manga, Noir, and more. New comics arrive every Wednesday. Savvy owner and staff. Full disclosure: my son Beancan Dan works there and let me sign my TOON books when I visited.
