I’m so happy to have this shop in Chico! The owner has been amazing at helping solve problems. He even fixed our Switch on a super short turnaround for my son’s birthday. Excellent customer service and reasonable pricing. It’s also fun to browse all the different types of games & retro video games.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! Shane helped me out with getting a gaming system for my husband’s birthday…last minute! He was extremely helpful and fair with his pricing. Went in to try reselling a console with two controllers and they tried to lowball me, when I pointed out that they were selling a similar console for almost 4x what they were offering me they became very rude & condescending. One male employee who wasn't even involved in the transaction but had just been standing around glaring at me the whole time started making up reasons for why they were trying to lowball. Scummy vibes.

Made a visit on trip from Oregon to Arizona. Super friendly and helpful shop - really enjoyed visiting with owner Shane who spent a lot of time helping to educate us on how to tell authentic game cartridges from knock-off versions. Left with a number of games we’d been looking for at fair prices. Great visit and enjoyed the friendly, personal touch this small business is putting in with a clear passion for retro gaming. Highly encourage dropping in if passing thru the area.

Owner is very friendly and very knowledgeable about all aspects of old video games. Great prices and great customer care. One of my favorite video game stores ranging from the Bay Area to Shasta. I highly recommend this game store to anyone looking to get into retro gaming.

Shane is the man! The employees and himself are always super nice, and give great service! Very aesthetically pleasing store loaded with video game gems. Also, they have only a $2 resurfacing fee that has repaired my scratched up discs, that were within reason. Thank you for all the help, and I will definitely maintain being a regular!

I told them I had older consoles that work they told me to bring them in. I came back a few days later. They tested 3 of my consoles and then they told me they can't receive them because they were overstocked. Like what was the whole point on testing them out if you weren't going to take them in? Waste of time. Smh
