This past weekend I went to this location with my grandsons to do the Santa wish list walk through. There were 2 women behind the counter who never even lifted their heads to greeted us as we entered the store
I did make a small purchase (how can you bring kids to a toy store and not get a little something)and again never an acknowledgment. I did return the following day to get the toys the boys had been looking at only to see the prices, I walked out and again there was not acknowledgment of me being in the store but the women being cashed out was greeted very graciously. Must be a local and a frequent customer.
Over the years I have shopped at this local but it was always during the week and never had any issues like this.
I do shop at Fun Stuff Toys in Seaford and all the people there are absolutely wonderful. As soon as you enter the store the girl behind the counter greets you.
This Matty’s location is definitely off my radar. They also need to do something with their machine that prints receipts. You can barely see what you purchased or the amount you paid.

My granddaughter always cons me into going here when she visits. A great mom and pop with a nostalgic feel. Little pricey, however, I do not mind paying. My granddaughter actually gets to go to a toy store to buy a toy and not online or at a big box chain.

Very clean well stocked store. Sales young lady helped me select an appropriate gift. Prices are fair. They have no cost gift wrapping also. Parking is easy and free right in front of the store. I'll be going back to get something for me😊

The Best of the Best toy stores on this planet. Service was EXCELLENT. They even wrap the gifts for you free of charge. They have many many toys and a very clean establishment.
Who needs TOYS (R) WERE US when you have Matty’s Toy Stop. Will always be coming back to shop here for our grandkids etc.

On my first and last time coming here, my experience was starkly different from the customer in line ahead of me: she was greeted and received a friendly checkout service. I was not greeted and was barely acknowledged. I’ll leave it to the reader to infer what the only noticeable difference was. I would have left the toys at the register if not for my child who was with me. There’s no way in hell I would ever step foot that place again. It’s also overpriced. 👎🏾
