Save your time and never sell at this store! The staff is rude and condescending. Took 6 bag there, half of it (if not more) with Zara tags still attached and was told I had to pick it all up within 48 hours or it’s donated. When I picked it up, found out they only went through 2 bags and “sorry, the lady doing inventory is very busy and missed your other 4”. Was told a bag full of about 80 items (high end brands) was worth $90. Took my stuff and left and will never be back! Don’t shop or sell here!

My shopping experience at La Costa Kids was fantastic! They had just what I was looking for for my preschooler, and we enjoyed talking with the owner while there.

I've been shopping at La Costa kids for 4 years now, and I absolutely love this place! They always have the cutest clothing and shoes for my daughter, that you wouldn't be able to find anywhere else for such a great price. Often times they will have BRAND new clothing from reputable brands (That might be from an older season). I've never had an issue with the owner or any employees, and I've sold here often. So not sure if other older reviews were isolated incidents, or misunderstandings? This is an upscale clothing store, and they sell high end brands that you'd often find at stores like Nordstrom. So if you're looking to sell brands that you'd often find at Target or Kohls, I'd recommend a store like Baby Exchange in east county. At any rate, highly recommend to check out La Costa Kids, I am addicted to this place!

This is a jewel for kids clothing. I am proud to say as a dad I can dress both my kids in quality clothing at a fraction of the price, in minutes. The surfing clothing brands are spectacular. The nice thing is everything is organized by size and tagged and it’s all good stuff. It’s the polar opposite of rolling down to Marshall’s...and killing 45mins looking through bargain racks of off brands. Well done!

The buyers are delusional and inconsistent. This store fancies itself quite high brow. In fact, it's a snobby Goodwill. Turned away bags full of almost-new brand name clothing (pre-screened for the 50 brands they won't even look at). Volcom, Joe's, Nike, and more. Not worth 1 dollar to them. Save yourself a trip. Donate for the tax write-off.

They had great clothes and toys and for a really great bargain for gently used items. I was shocked the first time I walked in seeing real American Girl Dolls/items and the clothes are super stylish

Boy, I tell ya. I don't like writing bad reviews. BUT, I have to say that the experience that was just had there was DISGUSTING. The tone and the way the staff treated us was downright AWFUL. In the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL way possible, we were told that the brands we brought in were not on the approved brands list. And, when we asked what brands they accepted? We were told to "walk around the corner, get our phones out and check the website". Holy moly simply NO. Don't shop here, don't visit here, there are more considerate polite places to do business. NEVER AGAIN.

I love everything about this store. It's the only place I buy my kids clothing now. The clothes are beautiful, inexpensive, and it's better for the environment. What's not to love
Oh, and they also have a kiddie play area in the back so my kids can play while I shop.
