I went on a sweet little coffee date with my sister and my partner to this special little remnant of old New York. Anna was sweet, attentive, and just such a hoot. The espresso was perfect, gelato was perfect, and she sent us home with a full set of glasses to boot! Do yourself a favor and make this your sweet treat for the day, you won’t regret it!

A truly amazing macchiato, latte, and gelato. We don’t even live in The Bronx but we came there to try it as we heard a lot of great things.

For over a decade, I’ve been visiting La Casa del Caffee, not just for the best coffee in New York City, but for the warmth and energy of my favorite human, Anna. Her kindness and vibrant spirit always make my day better. Every cup here is crafted with love, and you can taste the difference. Whether you’re a coffee aficionado or just looking for a cozy spot with a welcoming atmosphere, this place is truly special. A neighborhood gem that feels like home!

I’ve been coming to this café regularly and have always felt welcomed, especially by Ana, who is always kind and helpful. However, my experience today was completely different. A male staff member immediately told me I couldn’t do any work here before I even said anything. I wasn’t there to work, just to enjoy my food and coffee, which I had purchased. A few minutes later, he told me I had five minutes to wrap up and leave because more people were coming in.

What made this even worse was that another customer sat with me and mentioned she had been there for two hours, yet he never said anything to her. This felt like discrimination, and I’ve never been treated this way here before. It was incredibly disappointing, and unfortunately, I won’t be coming back

I was excited to try this coffee shop, but my experience was disappointing from the moment I entered. An older lady, whom I believe is Italian, bombarded me with five questions before I could even tell her what kind of coffee I wanted. She then told me I couldn't sit down and asked how long I planned to stay. It was 4 PM, and there were no other customers seated.

I politely questioned why it mattered how long I stayed if I was a paying customer, but her demeanor remained unwelcoming. It was clear to me that her behavior was rooted in racial prejudice. No Black person or anyone should have to endure such treatment. This establishment's conduct is unacceptable and discriminatory. And she want cash, im

I was excited to try a coffee place in the Bronx. Saw the high stars and my expectations where high. But that was not the case. It wasn’t the coffee itself it was the customer service. The owner made gestures when I asked for a latte with cinnamon. She started telling me … really that’s not usual. I go to many coffee shops and that my hobby. I thought Everyone Drinks Their Coffee how they Like it. I was disappointed and will not return. I’ll look more around the area for better service.
