The second my partner and I saw how unassuming this shop is we knew we were in for something good. The collection in here is amazing, and the owner is very nice. You can tell there is a lot of love for collecting and anime/geek culture in here. Really wide selection spanning tons of different anime, manga, comics, games, across many decades. Japanese moomin merch (or ANY moomin merch, for that matter) is really hard to come by in the u.s., and we were able to get a cute moomin plushie from Japan, one that neither my partner and I have ever seen before despite being moomin fans for 5+ years. Even if we hadn't gotten the plushie I was honestly happy knowing that the owner at least knew what moomin was. I'll definitely be stopping by in the future next time I'm in Oakland/Emeryville.

This store is amazing! I loved the high ceiling and decorations! It has an excellent selection of vintage goods at great prices. A must visit place for any Japan enthusiast or collector!

Lovely toy/collectors store with a wonderful and knowledgeable owner. Many interesting collectibles, almost all imported from Japan. Worth visiting!! Lots of vintage anime, toku, sanrio merch!

I feel guilty for stopping by without an appointment. They were kind enough to welcome us warmly. I will make sure to think ahead next time. We visited briefly and did not leave empty handed. As others have said there's no collection as wonderful as this one! I was overwhelmed with the selection. The line was moderate with a few people ahead the weekend I stopped by. I was relieved that they accept cards here, and not just cash. Prices are fair considering how unique some of the items are. I even love the cute bags they give to you to take your goodies home in. It's definitely worth a visit!

An unassuming store. If you are not looking closely you will drive right by it. I would say this shop is better for collectors.

Been here twice so far! Last time my boyfriend bought me a sailor mars figure and a tokidoki figure, this time i left with 3 little kewpie babies!

$9 each is such a great price these are expensive on ebay. The lady was super sweet and I will definitely be back again especially since i know she has kewpie babies!

Ordered a hoodie from them a while ago for a decent price and a shirt showed up. Not only was it printed on a low quality shirt but if I’m paying hoodie money and receiving a low quality shirt with two colors on two sides that should tell you about how insanely over priced this stuff is. At least most people who charge and arm and a leg online for boots print on nice shirts.
