My friend and I heard about the Noe Valley Holiday Window Display competition and decided to head over to browse for gifts. We wandered into this store to get a couple stuffed animals for a friend's children and when we stepped in OMG - this place is a magical wonderland of such well curated gifts, cards, art supplies, toys, games, etc - it was amazing and I got so many beautiful gifts (for the kids and beyond). Kevin (the owners husband) was so helpful and kind in helping us look for "squirrel themed gifts" and he even gift wrapped them for us. I told him I was going to post a 5 star review because he was so wonderful and it truly reminded me of the potential of what shopping in person in brick and mortar is truly about. Best shopping experience I've had in a while - there's truly no substitute for the kind of care in customer service that you get from a place like this. Thank you Kevin for giving us some holiday cheer (and amazing gifts to give this year)!

I love this store. It reminds me of my best friend’s family card & candy store I grew up visiting and sometimes working in. They have great gifts and art supplies. I really appreciate that they have gorgeous Shabbat AND havdalah candles!

Usually, I love this store. But, this time there was a total of one get well card in stock. Same was true of the other book and card stores on 24th st. Even Walgreens had only one get well card. Either there are a lot of sick people out there getting cards, or it's no longer a thing to send an actual get well card.

The staff is amazing. The associate asked if I needed help, asked a ton of questions about my wife upon learning I was shopping for a birthday gift, and then provided a considerable amount of good suggestions. After all that, she wrapped the gifts. She was awesome! I have always loved this store for good reason.
