A terrific shopping and ready-to-eat dining area with new finds all the time, especially in the dried fruit/savory and deli counter.
The bakeries here is not at all markets and is spectacular!
The international boxed candy selection is also outstanding.
Be award of expired "best buy dates" -- we find them regularly. Jon's honors refunds on them.
Plenty of good cheer among the accommodating staff and plenty of free parking outside to make this destination-drive worthy.

Dangerous customer service!!! Today around 10:45 I bought beef shank and small piece of ham. I came for pay at the line #1, “For 10 or less items “.
Cashier Christina served a woman who had more than 20 items. I told the cashier that if this woman can't read, then you, as a cashier, need to explain to her that this line is for "10 or less items." The cashier told me “It’s is OK." Then the woman decided to change the canned goods. She went into the hall and brought 6 small cans of Tune instead of 3 large ones. And all this time we were waiting at the checkout. I couldn't wait any longer and left without buying what I needed and wasted my time. The store manager was not there. And this is not the first time. I have been going to this Jones #2 on Van Nuys very rarely after the Super King store opened, where the customer service is much better, but now, after this, I will not go there at all, thanks to cashiers like Christina.

Every single time we come in to this store, there is always an uncontrollable situation where the cashiers have no clue what to do. Then they talk to all the other cashiers while waiting for a manager, and the managers are not very attentive. It's unfortunate that there isn't another store here besides Jon's.

I purchased a cake mix on 05/30 from the store on Van Nays Street. I found they are expired a month ago today, Saturday, 01/06. I went to the store to return it around 10:00 am and they refused to return it and said it could be replaced. this is an expired product. I tried to return it within 3 days from the date of purchase, and the cashier theyare very rude they should be better training than
