I've been to a lot of hobby stores around the USA, and this is one of the best. Absolutely amazing selection. The store is literally packed floor to ceiling with model kits. Cars, airplanes, tanks, they probably have something for everyone one. Their hours are limited, but this shop is well worth the time and trip.

Love this place. Not only because it's the only hobby shop in the area but because we have our monthly P.A.M.S. meeting here as well as group build days and IPMS meetings once per month. Most importantly, John is an upstanding fellow. Could not ask for a better host. His knowledge about the hobby far exceeds most people in the industry.

One of the few brick and mortars left. Stocks new kits and vintage kits. Hours are limited but we'll worth the visit!

John, check your suppliers. A recent purchase from you of a 1/72 AMT KC-135A was partially painted, partially assembled and then carefully de-assembled and even rebagged and box resealed. I made the best of it and came out alright. But was disappointed in seeing that a cellophane sealed kit doesn't mean new or NOS.

I just purchased an F/A-18 Blue Angels jet model from John’s Models, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. The model itself is incredibly detailed and will make a fantastic addition to my decor once it’s built. The store offers an impressive variety, from planes to tanks, boats, submarines, and more, truly something for every enthusiast. What made the experience even better was the excellent customer service. The employees were friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. They assisted me in selecting a Camaro model for my grandpa, which he will really love.

It's a nice little shop out of the city bustle.
Great guy, not overbearing or pushy for you to buy something you won't be able to handle. And really knowledgeable.
Only problem with this shop is that there is too much to choose from. So not really a negative.
Was more or less looking for a fighter jet or plane. Ended up leaving with a nice F-111 with some nice bonuses in the box.

John's Models is one of the few real hobby shops left. At least in this area. He's got tons of model cars, planes, ships, Gundams, figures. I could spend all day looking through all stuff he has. He also occasionally gets a hold of some rare kits and collectable. His store is also the meeting place for 3 local model clubs. Just ask John or Patty about them. Also if they don't have something in the store, John can find it for you.
