Wow - my favorite new bookstore, even though it’s the oldest owned by the same family in Wisconsin! Loads of books, puzzles, toys, gifts…and then used books in mint condition down the basement! You won’t want to miss this!!!

Pretty disappointed. We like to travel all Wisconsin looking for neat places. This one popped up on our list. It's like a small town Barnes & Noble. The prices were the ones listed on the books. They have a clearance area in the lower level but very old items. I wish there was more history versus a modern look. The library down the road was great and had a book sale!

I Toured Downtown Wausaw w/ My Daughter & 23mo. old Grandson. We went Into the Bookstore- which Is So Cute! There are "Great Finds" for ALL Ages. Highly 🥰 Recommend Going Here

Love this bookstore! The best part might be the lower level with all the used books and the very antique collection of books! Took my niece here as she is going to school for library sciences and she did not want to leave!

I hate that I love this place so much. From amazing books and trinkets to the basement O’ wonder, one of the the oldest bookstores in Wisconsin doesn’t seem old at all. Flavored with Janke humor, you’ll love it. Or I’ll personally buy another book just to spite your horrible taste.

This is perhaps the largest privately owned bookstore in Wisconsin. It has a huge selection of books, magazines, and other items. It has great customer service. I always try to visit when I'm in Wausau.
