"Lockers are over there" is the first and only thing that was said to us upon walking into this place. We were expected to put any purses or bags into a locker while we shop, which is a fine rule for a business to have if they really want to. But to completely skip any form of cordial greeting and going immediately to being rudely demanding sets a very unappealing tone that makes it hard to want to continue shopping there. Kindly asking the customer if they could put their purse in a locker isn't very hard at all, even if the sign is poseted outside. But it seems like the employees/management would rather spend their time protecting their garbage inventory than investing in a little human kindness. Honestly sad.

Another great place to visit. Lots of great things. There is alot of vintage jewelry which was nice to look at. They have it separated in colors. They also have vintage dresses. They have furniture and alot of pictures. Glassware also. They have a room with record album's if you want vinyls. Great place very friendly, check them out.

I just recently had back surgery and I was given medicine on hand for when I get random back spasms so I had to have my purse on me. The lady who owns the store kicked me out even when I told her why I need my purse on me. Very disrespectful. I love 410 vintage because they respect their customers.

Always has the most interesting and unique items. Good mix of styles, well curated and priced. Staff and vendors have always been friendly and reasonable. Several folks on this page complaining about no-purse policy but that seems appropriate to me - - people steal, and losses like that take a toll on a small business. Policies are set up front. If you want cookie-cutter products and fawning service by people who are barely paid a living wage, go to Wal-mart.

I like this place, however, the people that work here are pretty rude sometimes. They have signs that say “no negotiation on price” which is very understandable since there are many different vendors and it’s just not feasible to haggle.

However, I was looking at a necklace that said “sterling silver” and thought the price was quite steep for what it was. I also thought it didn’t quite feel like silver. I recognized the lady working as the woman who prices the jewelry. I’m not sure if that’s actually true but I figured I would just ask.

I asked her if she’s sure that I can’t negotiate down the price a few dollars. She was extremely rude and condescending, and starting complaining about how no one listens to the signs posted and that it’s ridiculous that I would ask that.

I bought the necklace anyways but was very put off by her response. A simple “Sorry, no exceptions.” would have sufficed. When I got home I looked for a marking on the necklace and it actually said it was gold plated. I tested it with my metal testing kit and took it to a jeweler and it was confirmed not silver. Probably plated brass. Very disappointed with their attitude and their lack of knowledge sometimes.

Overall, I always liked this store and frequently shopped there. They have nice stuff, but I’ve had many times where I felt like the employees were being quite rude for no reason. This was the final straw for me and I haven’t been back since.

A few weeks ago, I came across In Retrospect's Instagram post showing a pair of cow print pillows they had in their store. I did a screenshot and sent them to a friend in Texas, who shares my love for cow print, just so he could admire them, too.
A few minutes later, he told me that he contacted the store, purchased them for me, and they were ready for pickup... as a happy gift. Thanks, Jack!
I had never been in the store before, only admired their goods online. The pandemic has kept me home for the most part, but now I had an excuse to visit their store.
As I approached the front door, I noticed that they seem to be very serious about the pandemic, with sanitizer at the door, mask required signs, and encouraged social distancing. This put me more at ease. I appreciate that and wish I could give one more star for that reason.
They had my pillows ready for me, but I took some time and checked out their store. That place is a plethora of unique goodies and I was quite impressed. The prices are reasonable and fair, and if I had more time, I probably would have come home with a ton of stuff. I only wish I would have made it to their store sooner, particularly before Christmas. I definitely will be returning.
PS I absolutely love the pillows. They go with my decor perfectly and are great quality. Iris was a little hesitant at first (see photo) but she has since warmed up to the pillows that kind of look like her.

Very cute store, it was so interesting just to look at everything. Minus one star because I had to keep my phone in the waistband of my leggings due to putting my purse up. But I understand the reasoning behind the no purses rule. Over all great experience
