I stopped by this Hot Topic store while inside Valencia Town Center. My wife like a Hey Arnold shirt I got her from the store before so I came to see if they had anymore. When I walked inside, a worker greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I told her that I was just looking at their tshirts and she let me browse. They have a lot of different shirts like Dragon Ball, music artist and etc. I didn't see any Hey Arnold shirt so I didn't buy anything.

I like this place but the new person at checkout just..didn't get things right. They couldn't find my account at first even after telling them my number MANY times then looking at my receipt some things got buy 1 get 1 30% off instead of using my hot cash I had. A couple things are marked as final sale that weren't final sale items (full price pins for example NOT blind bags). Then my purse, that they were even asked if they made sure they removed security tags on, still has tags on it. So now I'm at home trying to rip apart a wire lock on my new purse..Other person who works here is fantastic but Emily (is what my receipt says so I'm assuming it's them) just needs WAY more training before being left alone. I'm sure they'll do fine after some work but it's frustrating when you live an hour away and can't just drive back over..This place is too pricey for these mistakes.

The workers in this store are so nice! We were looking for a Miku shirt for my daughter and they were so helpful. They went above and beyond to help us. Then there were some weird issues with my hot topic account. They helped me to the best of their ability and then they told me what I could do to fix it. I cannot recommend this location enough! I wish I had asked for their names.

My 12yr old niece adores the Hot Topic near her home in Loma Linda. But the Valencia Town Ctr. location has terrible service. Rude, abrupt, and interrupted... their female clerk thst day was obviously 'being held there against her will'!😉 She wanted nothing to do with us. Her contempt was palpable!
We finally just asked the other gal for assistance with the dressing room and she wasn't much better.
My young niece was both hurt and confused as she wanted to spend her allowance along with my gift money on their merchadise. But they seemed more interested in restocking duties than us. The first gal was even upset when my niece needed an shirt size out front of a wall rack hanging on a display hanger. It was out infront of the others. And as it was the only shirt in my niece's size she needed it. But the gal was clearly irritated she wanted that one. I kept thinking "don't you want us to buy anything here?"
The lHot Toic location near Loma Linda where my family lives has the best staff!! My family loves them there. Needless to say our special Valencia mall outing was a disappointment for both of us. Just another reason I just do not want to go into shopping malls anymore.
Instead of buying what we needed there, we only got a cold shoulder shirt and arm warmers for me niece. As my niece is losing her Mom to advanced pancreatic cancer she really needed a 'win'. Hot topic could have really scored with us that day. Instead, we left upset and mostly empty handed. We won't bother returning. Their staff at the Valencia store obviously don't care either way apparently.☹

The location is kinda small but then again so is every store in this mall haha. It's super nice! My boyfriend loves this place and they had some really cool stuff recently (the MCR sweaters and Carebears shirts are epic) The staff is always friendly and always helpful. Got a nice dress from the clearence section a week or so ago and it's great so far!

I really like going into hot topic. The staff are always happy to help. The reason for my 4 star rating is because it's too crowded with items so it makes it hard yo walk around comfortably. I know this isn't the staff's fault but it would be nice if there was just a tad bit more room to walk down the aisles.
