This place was great filled with options of cars, planes, trains, and more. Wonderful decor but I wish I wasn't constantly asked on if I wanted to get certain expensive items. 4/5

We are up from NJ for a softball tournament and I decided to drop in and check them out. Probably the best RC shop I have ever been too. I went in looking got a specific truck and of course they had it. Extremely friendly staff and owner. I will be coming back next year and definitely stopping in to spend my money again

I visited Hobby Quarters for the first time today & it was a great experience! I spoke with both Mark & John, great first impression! I’ll tell ya, they have a lot of product, I didn’t know where to look 👀! I went there with a Losi 1/18 LMT Grave Digger in mind & they had them. With just getting it this evening I only drove it inside my house at 50% & It’s a blast! The suspension handles exactly like you would expect from a mini monster truck with plenty of power & good steering. Even with this small sample size I think Losi did a great job with the 1 /18 Grave Digger. It was a great first experience at Hobby Quarters, I plan on doing my future business with them 👍🏻!

John, the tech and Mark, the owner are great at what they do, they have supported me with professionalism for years as mutual hobby enthusiasts! HQ is a great flagship hobby shop in NE! I’m excited to see where Mark takes his enterprise

This store unfortunately has gone down hill severely. I used to have nothing but good experiences here. The last few times I have been in, the customer service was lacking. Seems like employees are not interested maybe. I asked for some help and the man I spoke to seemed like he didn't want me there. He was rude and short with me and ultimately said "anything I sell you would be worse than that so I can't help you". The thing is he didn't understand my problem. He didn't listen to me whatsoever and talked over as well as down to me. The first thing he said from his chair when I approached the counter was "Yeah, what?". Then he was pretty rude when asking me why I wanted to get the part I was looking for without looking at it or even standing up. To me it's unprofessional, ruins the rapport with customers and It's a shame.

Not a great shop. Not very knowledgeable. I had the part number from the OFFICIAL traxxas website, called to ask if they had it and was told it doesn’t exist. 🤦‍♀️ called a different store and they were very knowledgeable and sure enough the part number I had was in fact an existing part and they were able to find it for me.

Don’t recommend! As someone who is new to the hobby I didn’t know much. I was given the wrong advice on multiple occasions. I made an upgrade and was not instructed to update other parts with it as well to prevent issues such as the ones I IMMEDIATELY ran into. Bought a BRAND NEW RC car and It didn’t make it 30mins before the dif broke. I was given parts to buy to fix a car and the parts DONT EVEN FIX my car. It’s for a completely different car. Not very knowledgeable.

Was in here to buy my first rc car drove fine showed up the next day to convert my jato 2s to a 4s and didn’t tell me abt all the things I would need to get it going properly. Brand new to the hobby and didn’t recommend anything to me. now dealing with changing multiple parts from plastic to an upgraded one. After I lost 4wd I brought it to them they said it was the front dif. Come to find out the front dif was completely fine and it was a broken rear axle. They do not explain their diagnosis or any recommendations for parts. Rewards system isn’t very good. Also just bought a Kraton 6s from them and not even 30 min later both the front and rear dif blew. No suggestions of going to a thicker dif fluid to prevent this. had to go to another hobby shop to get it diagnosed.

I would like to say that this children's store is not just a place where you can buy everything you need for your child. It is a place where smiles are born, dreams come true, and a unique childhood atmosphere is created.
