I had such a great experience with a small local business I had to share! As a mom helping my son get ready for prom, we found this gem of a rental shop run by a wonderful woman. It was a bit of a drive coming from Lompoc, but definitely worth it. We walked in without an appointment (yes, no appointment needed!) and even though there were a few hiccups along the way, she more than made up for it with her kindness, personality, and the final product. My son looked amazing, and we left feeling truly taken care of. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a dress or suit for a special occasion—supporting local never felt so good! For the last two school years we have gone to get my daughter a homecoming dress at Hey Gorgeous. Both experiences were wonderful! This year my daughter fell in love with a dress but wanted a purple one Krista tried to order it in purple for us and when it was not available in purple, she found my daughter another purple dress of her dreams! In todays world supporting our local shops can sometimes be hard due to the economy, However I would shop here again and again because Krista goes above and beyond for her customers! My daughter is already on the count down for next years homecoming and prom dress shopping and there is only 1 store on her list of places to go.. Hey Gorgeous!

If you’re searching for the perfect dress for a special occasion, you’ve got to check out this shop! The owner is genuinely amazing and takes the time to really focus on each customer. Just let her know your budget, and she’ll stick to it—no pressure or upselling. The store has a unique and beautiful selection of dresses, gowns, and everything else you’d need to feel like royalty. “Hey Gorgeous” is truly a hidden gem, and you’ll be so glad you stopped by!

Where do I even begin? Hey Gorgeous Formal Wear is such a great shop, whether you're looking for bridesmaids dresses, gowns for black-tie events, homecoming, prom, menswear, little girls' dresses, or even fun accessories - they have everything! Even if they don't have something in store, they can order pretty much anything you want! As a local Wedding Planner, I have known the Owner Krista for years, and she is always willing to go above and beyond for every single customer. I have purchased several dresses from Krista, and they are always great quality, and the experience is incredible every time. She is super kind, positive, and always hyping you up while you are trying things on. If she ever needs to leave her shop early or adjust her hours, she will always post on her Instagram so customers are always informed at all times. Even when emergencies arise, she is consistently thinking of her customers and making sure they are taken care off. Krista is great about showcasing new inventory so you are always up to date on what she has in stock. Something that doesn't even apply to me, but that I really admire, is that Krista will never sell the same dress twice to women attending the same event (such as homecoming or prom). This shows how much she truly has the customer's best interest at heart - she wants to make sure each person feels special at their event, even if it means tuning down a sale. I have seen this woman persevere through extreme challenges and she is one of the most hardworking people I know. She is so dedicated and passionate about her business, and she really cares about each person coming in. I will keep going to Hey Gorgeous Formal Wear for dresses (and last-minute suits for my date) as long as I am attending events! 🙂

Hey Gorgeous Formal Wear is a beautiful store! So many beautiful dresses for every type of formal event. We got my daughter’s homecoming dress there and Krista was nothing but joy, and a girls girl. Truly lifting up my daughter. We are excited to be returning for prom dresses in a few months!

Highly recommend!!! With my daughters and my busy schedule, it was very hard to find time to find a dress for her homecoming dance. We showed up to this shop 20 min before closing to run in, see what was available and maybe come back when there would be more time to shop. Not only did the owner give us excellent customer service, but she said she was not worried about the time and wanted us to find the perfect dress. She made great selections and helped us find the perfect one! My daughter was SO happy leaving that shop and continued to talk about the great experience on our car ride home. I will come back here 100 times with what great customer service we received. She has GORGEOUS dresses!
