Absolutely stunning array of yarn . Very knowledgeable and kind staff. Definitely a bit more expensive than your bulk hobby store like Michaels, Hobby Lobby,or fabric stores, but....the quality of the yarn is exquisite and the variety and richness of the colors are amazing. I will be using this store for any project going forwards that I care about the softness or vibrancy of the yarn. I wish I had found this gem before. The yarn does not fuzz up and fray like the cheap yarn I purchased elsewhere. Using high quality products, you get much better results. The quality makes such a big difference, I am amazed.

I took the Troubleshooting Your Knitting class by Molly at the Fiber Festival. She is an amazing teacher and drew attention to the important things to pay attention to with your stitches. I am a self taught knitter with many years experience. This class has raised my knitting game, allowing me to make corrections both more efficiently and with more confidence. I wish this amazing shop was closer to me!

I am so thankful for all of the kind and knowledgeable women at The Hands on Knitting Center who have helped teach me to knit. They are so patient and friendly & always willing to help. My daughters and I are all knitting now because of their help. I won’t shop anywhere else for my knitting needs because these women are the GOAT!

I always enjoy being at HOKC, whether taking a class, shopping for yarn or working on a project at one of their tables. The owners are helpful when you’re stuck on a project, and have helped me find the perfect yarns to make my projects be all that I envisioned and more! I took the beginning weaving class HOKC and now I’m hooked on weaving too!

My friend Tee had been telling me about this shop for months. So a year ago I met her here during a 3 day holiday to crochet. I bought a few skeins of colorful quality yarn . And I think that the inclusive and helpful vibe at this shop is the best quality about being here. I just wish it could be located closer to where I live. I would come here more often.
Oh I almost forgot … they have pajama parties too sometimes , with potlucks.

Every time I have visited HOK, they have treated me GREAT. They are always nice and their yarn is wonderful. I came into the store to ask a question about a pattern I had that I didn't get from them. Roxanne spent a considerable amount of time helping me. All I can say is I told everyone how great she was to help me. I am actually in disbelieve that she took the time to help me. I so appreciated it. What an incredibly nice thing to do.
