You know back in the day (early 2000s). I used to come here and outfit 4 kids for school for about $100.
I used to buy books for .25 to 1.00.
I could buy a couch for $50. I could get linens and blankets for $5..$10 if it was a nice comforter.
He'll I bought my prom dress from there for like $30.
Now I understand the cost of living has increased and business cost are enormous, but HAAM resale shop has decided to turn itself into some second hand boutique.
Just cause it's from the 80s doesn't mean it's vintage...sometimes it's just grandma's old crap. Stop selling it for $40 and $50.
And if you watch at the end of the day when the employees go home...some of your donations go with them. Do you honestly think they are paying these gouging prices like they want us to.
I'm just saying...this store has definitely changed over the years and NOT FOR THE BETTER.
COME ON HAMM...FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY YOU CHARGE AT THE STORE...YOURE FOOD PANTRY AND SERVICES SHOULD BE PHENOMENAL...SOMETHING DOESNT ADD UP!

Store hours state open till 5:30pm. Was gonna walk in and look at dvd's real quick less then 10 minutes before the store closing time. Time is 5:20 Lady tells me their closed an yet there are customers in there still shopping. I know you in a rush to go home but if your open then don't tell me your closed. Could have just said that the store closes in 10 minutes. No just store is closed even though you still have customers shopping. Rude very rude. You lost my business i will not be back ever again.

OVER PRICED. They give you discounts but seems items are marked up very high to do so. Lots of vintage items, housewares, clothing. Very organized. Wasn't my thing but lots to pick from if u into old vintage items.

This resale shop is right around the corner from my house. I wish I could be excited about that but the prices are ABSURD! I collect vintage jewelry for crafting. Items that should be $1-$2 (at most!) are priced $10, $12, $15+ dollars. Junk jewelry that is dirty and old. Everything I pick up in this store is overpriced to the point that I’ve laughed out loud and shaken my head because I simply can’t even believe someone thought “yep, $40 for an ugly wall painting in a plastic frame, sounds about fair” 🤦🏻‍♀️
I’ve gone in a few times and the prices are still just silly. I’m done. Picture for reference, a dirty old out of style necklace worth about $1…..$12 bucks they wanted.

Recently I've noticed that the prices have increased significantly, almost commercially, instead of used or resale. Today I went in looking for used flower pots. I found 3. One at $30, another at $19.99 and yet another at $20. All used, all medium sized. Why so expensive? I had to leave with nothing. The same thing occurs when I'm clothes shopping. I can no longer afford the dresses or 2 piece skirt sets. What is going on?

Update: I haven’t been here in years, but had some time so I stopped in. The people working here are still fantastic and so helpful and friendly. The store is organized and clean. Plenty of inventory. The prices are pretty high compared to buying new. I saw a few things and compared them while in the store and there really wasn’t much of a discount. Still, it’s a nice place to spend some time looking around in.

I could spend an hour in here easy! So much to look at. People who work here are so nice too!

Very over priced. You would think donated items would be priced more reasonably $5 for a deck of cards sold new at Walmart for $1.99 or $1 at the dollar store.

High prices, condescending staff, failing the Humble area. The reason I am shopping at a thrift store is because I CANNOT afford retail prices for clothing. I used to love coming here, but the prices have skyrocketed and even vary based on brand and material/clothing style (one purse is $30, another is $10… same size but one is brand name).
I thought the little baby beanie I picked out for my daughter would be $0.75 at most… $1.99 for a baby beanie. When I was surprised and confirmed that was the price I heard, the lady up front got sassy and said “um YEAH, $1.99.” Extremely disappointing.

I understand operating costs are higher these days, but driving up prices like this will force more and more people out until you’re forced to close your store because nobody can afford anything in here. Not coming here again.
