Purchased a MTG precon that was NOT marked up! $50 for Squirreled Away in January 2025 was very much appreciated and will stop by again when in-town! Highly recommend for Magic fans.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! A good selection of Pokemon singles and countless other games, and a vibrant community area in the back. Great hours and a friendly staff, I worked with Amari and Josh and they were very helpful.

First time visitor there. Bright and clean. Had a tournament going on which was lively. I was there with another group. Clean displays. Only issue is parking, tough to find but that's Chicago. Very nice neighborhood with DePaul just steps away.

This place is magical! The people are always so helpful, whether I’m there with my 8yo or for myself. A lot of variety and always something new.
The events are great too. My 8yo just did one of the learn to play pokemon events and it was very informative and fun. We will definitely be doing more.
It may seem like a tiny touch, but the bathroom sign made the space feel inclusive.

Great place to play Pokemon and probably other card games.

They have a wonderful community on discord with lots of events in different formats including standard, GLC, and prerelease.

They also have boxes of newish cards you can rummage through and regularly refreshed binders of slightly pricier cards ($1-$5).

The player base is pretty broad with very experienced tournament players as well as more casual players like me.

For Pokemon at least, the community organizers are mostly not employees, so not sure how it is to play other games there.

Personally, I'm not a table top gamer, but I know a good diverse selection when I see it. Ig they may not have everything, but they have a wide selection. The gaming area is large enough to accommodate many players.

I was pulled in by the puzzles in the window. They have an excellent puzzle selection.
