It is a very unique stop, but perfect for your mid trip pit stop to have sushi.

My wife and I are were coming back from lake tahoe and we stopped in bishops to charge our car.While we're waiting we ate here and we are pleasantly surprised by the Poke bento box. Highly recommend for anybody who's looking for a spot to charge and enjoy a good meal.

I had a very disappointing experience at this ramen place. One of us ordered the vegetarian ramen and specifically asked for no onions. According to the menu, the dish should have come with a variety of vegetables. However, when the ramen arrived, the server informed us that they had run out of vegetables, leaving us with just noodles, broth, and a few pieces of tofu. There was no prior warning about the lack of ingredients, and the dish was far from what we expected.

While the server did apologize and said we wouldn’t be charged for the vegetarian ramen, we were still charged for it in the final bill. We didn’t notice until after we had left, which made the experience even more frustrating. Overall, the lack of communication and follow-through, combined with being charged for something that was far from the menu description, left us very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on our experience.

What a delicious little gem in Bishop! I really appreciate the gluten free options. THEY HAVE BOBA!!! I highly recommend the lavender flavor! Also had the edamame and Philadelphia. The roll had so much more salmon in it than I’m used to-which is not a bad thing! The staff was really attentive and made our experience enjoyable.

Delicious ramen and sushi! The combos are reasonably priced and come with a good amount of food. Tiny issue might be that the area is a little small which makes for tight seating but they always work to accommodate larger groups.

First time here, 7/27/23. Heard around town it’s worth a try. In the Rite Aid/Big 5 shopping center. Lots to choose from. Had the Fried Sushi California Cream Cheese Roll. 8 pieces, very tasty. Everyone around me were having bowls. Was informed the Calamari is incredible. I’ll definitely be back! Not super expensive either.

I’ve tried both Gojira restaurants in Mammoth and Bishop. At first, I thought the issue was just the tasteless food at the Mammoth location, but now I’m completely disappointed with the service and unprofessional response at the Bishop location. I’ve never encountered staff who would lie and blame a customer for a wrong order, then insist on adding it to the bill under the guise of “fairness.” I had to argue against this, which was completely unfair.

I chose the restaurant because I wanted a specific dish. Why would I intentionally order something else unless the staff misunderstood or misheard my order?

Overall, the quality of the food—especially the ramen noodles—is terrible, and it’s overpriced. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. It’s simply not worth trying.
