GMI games has been around for so long, and it really has become the best thing in Jurupa Valley to do on a Friday night or Saturday morning! Friendly people, good selection and plenty of table space to play! Kind of gives you the feeling of a gaming shop in the 90s!

Went to GMI for the newly released gundam card game but a balding store employee with ponytail said we were 2 mins past the call outs even though we were over 10 minutes early from what the official event start time said on the Bandai TCG + app. Employee then got verbally aggressive and standoffish. This place has lost my business. Rude employee, bad odor, and an aggressive tone. I wouldn't be leaving this review if the employee was more considerate but the aggressive verbal behavior was the crossing point.

Looked nice at first. Didn't see much MTG. I asked the bald white "gentleman" at the front counter and he seemed really bothered that I asked if they had more. He replied with annoyance and explained that they're all on the website and they don't have access to them. I understand, but why you mad, bro?

I’d only go to buy sleeves or packs sometimes, so I always thought their rude behavior was just another bad day for them. Which I was wrong. Not to mention the manager essentially cheated his way to first on a recent tournament/event. I don’t think he should’ve been playing to begin with, it’s honestly unfair. He also didn’t add overtime to the final match which they’re suppose to, during that time they determine the winner. On his final turn (he stalled the time) the time ran out and declared himself the winner. BOOOO 🍅 tomatoes all day

Is the best fantasy gaming store from Temecula to San Bernardino. For paints, figures, brushes and more. It really does have it all. And the people there are very helpful, especially if your a beginner. D&D at it's best.

The guy at the counter, who's named I did forget, Was very friendly and referred me to their discord channel when I asked about finding in person games. Nice little shop, there was a game tournament under way there when I dropped in.

Decent prices and reasonable staff.

Not quite as welcoming as some other game stores in the area, but they’ve always been reasonable and polite to me so I have nothing to complain about.

I haven’t played much there, but it’s clear their play space is great for miniatures, but seems only fine for anything else - not bad, but nothing special on that front.

For better or worse, they usually follow TCG player prices closely. This means if you didn’t pre-order and it’s a popular set, they’ll up the price to market value - however high that is - sometimes well above any nearby stores. But on the flip side, if they have product that’s less popular they’ll generally discount it below other local stores to match TCG player prices. If you know what you’re willing to pay for something this works out fine, and I can’t blame them for trying to make money in the fine margins a game store operates, but it’s worth knowing what you’re getting going in.

They do offer more than some of the closest other stores for trade it, but have a bit less selection to spend that trade in credit on. Again, a trade off, but one I’ve been very happy with on many occasions.

I can’t say this is my favorite game store, or the best experience ever, but I also can’t get behind the 1 star reviews they have. If they have what you want (and they have a reasonable mix of collectible games and more casual/ strategy card and board games) you’ll be able to find it for a fair price - and I think that deserves 4 stars. If you like miniatures, their extensive terrain in their gaming area probably push them up to 5 stars and best in the area, but if you’re into cards there are other local stores that run better events or have larger variety of available singles and that might push them down to 3 or 3.5 stars.

Overall, I think they’re a just fine store, and while I do most of my playing and shopping at other game stores in the area I still sometimes come here to buy or trade in and I’ve always been content with what they have to offer.
