This was the first time I went to this store. It was very
It's cute and a great place to get things from minnesota. There are lots of christmas options and nostalgic things.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They have 2 levels, but we didn't make it up to the second floor. The cafe was very good. We loved the popover with honey butter. The chicken salad was very good. The strawberry ? salad was good but we didn't like the dressing.

I would highly recommend this place, It's was a very cute store with a lot of fun things to look at.

I was greeted walking in the door. This is an inviting store with a big variety of unique items. The General Store is two levels of fun. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. There were no lines when checking out even though it was super busy. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. I loved the shopping baskets to hold my items while I shopped around.

Unique and fun place to find unexpected treasures. Very busy store, but the parking lot is large, and it is worth stopping in, especially if you would like to find a gift for anyone. It smells amazing and different all throughout the store. Friendly employees are willing to help at every turn.

The General Store in Minnetonka, off of Highway 7, is my All time favorite gift shop! My family knows how much I like their merchandise and often buy me birthday and Christmas gifts from there. I particularly like their jewelry, home decor, and kitchen products. I first visited the store 12-years ago when my husband took me there to buy me a bracelet; the store has been my favorite ever since.

The General Store also has a Café which serves a variety of salads, soups, sandwiches, coffee beverages, and desserts. My favorite lunch menu items are a large bowl of chicken wild rice soup and a popover. I strongly recommend arriving for lunch by late morning as the Café can get very busy and favorite items sold out. ❤️

I miss living on this side of town just for this store alone! I always loved dropping off or picking up my daughter who use to work here.

So it’s always a must stop when I am on this side of town.

A great store for unique gifts! This place always seems busy, but never TOO busy to find just the right thing for that special someone!
Prices are a little steep, but the quality has always proven worth it.
This store is a hidden gem in Minnetonka, if you're a local and haven't experienced it, you really should. You'll love it

Actually went into grab something to drink quick and use the restroom. First time I was ever in their store and it was pretty cool and reminded me of walking into a Cracker Barrel restaurant's gift shop. They actually had Vanlice Lemonade which is locally made in Carver County, Well it's expensive at around I think the $5+ it's worth it for a treat. The only thing that I found interesting was they have a lot of people in the gift shop working and our customer facing, but yet only have one person at the register that had 4 customers in line waiting.

This was my 1st trip to the general store. The variety is amazing and wonderful. It was a crowded Saturday but the cashiers were quick and very friendly. Loved this store
