I set foot into this new and pre-owned gamer lifestyle shop looking for some last-minute gifts. GeekyGlamorous has something for every geek and gamer in your life! The store itself really stood apart from the rest on this specific stretch of shops on Burbank Blvd. Such a beautiful blue storefront on the corner.

Inside you are greeted by tons of toys, clothes, trinkets, tchotchkes, stickers, and doodads themed from your favorite anime, comics, and video games. Some stuff is pre-owned, and other items are new from reputable vendors like BioWorld. It is not the biggest store, but the layout is really well thought out and makes the space feel larger.

The store owner, Mrs. GeekyGlamorous herself is there to answer any questions, and is super friendly and personable. I really dug the aesthetic choices like the table comprised of Super Famicon game cartridges(!) or the cashier table with tons of cool memorabilia and ephemera under the glass.

There was a great deal running for Christmas: a mug, pair of socks, and candy gift set all wrapped up with a gift tag for $25! Such a great value.

There will be rotating pop-up shops monthly— in December '24 there's a setup from Dispel Dice. There will also be regular community events like game nights held at the shop, too. I'm really excited for this new store, it's like an indie Expo or Comic Con!

Walked in to check it out and was happily surprised by the variety of collectables they have. You can find things from Mario to Demon Slayer to D&D. If you're looking for something like necklaces, dice, and enamel pins: this is great place to peek around. Mandie is great and super friendly too

When I heard about a female owned business with video game merch I had to stop by! 🤩

The merch was organized and there was a good assortment. I’m more of a Nintendo fan but there were also things from other franchises too!

Left with a Star Wars shirt, 3 Pokemon capsules, and a Boo plush just in time for Halloween. 👻 10/10 recommend to stop by!

Holy moly batman!

I run an LGBTQ+ Gamer Nonprofit, and Mandie graciously hosted an event thrown in our name by our friend and volunteer Alicen. Look no further if you've been looking for a gamer and geeky small business to support.

GeekyGlamorous combines a gaming/geeky thrift store with a boutique. By the end of the day, I had picked up a D&D change purse, a Chaos pin from Sonic the Hedgehog, and a controller pin, which is Geeky's own branded merchandise.
