Game time is selling cards for scalpers prices! This is a brick and mortar store with distributors and still selling products for scalpers price.
On launch day of Prismatic Evolutions They was selling the ETBs for $110 or more. MSRP for a ETB is $55.
One week later I found them at Walmart for MSRP. I recommend not buying from Game Time unless it's MSRP or slightly and I mean slightly above it! I used to buy from this store a lot and last booster box I bought of surging sparks was marked up here to what it was selling online for and that was launch weekend too.

I do not agree with you meeting online stores prices and scalpers prices to prevent scalpers from scalping. You're literally just being a scalper yourself.
They're are plenty of was to avoid scalpers at your store.

1. Limit one per sku to one person's party.
2. Make PA of the stock you have for the limited print runs to sell to the public at certain times or hold events for it and sell it during those events.
3. Hold a Raffle for being able to purchase more than one of that sku at msrp or slightly above it. Sell those tickets and that's extra revenue for barley nothing.

I understand a company has to make money, but do something like a $10 mark up on a ETB, just make it reasonable. Your customer base knows that you probably paid less than msrp from your distributor for those products. Then immediately sell them for scalper prices on launch day is disrespectful to your customers.

pretty cool place. sells like dnd stuff. i don't play but if i did i would be going to this store often i think. workers were very good when I went!

Visited for the first time today and picked up paint, dice, and some miniatures for my DnD game. All of the prices were good, and the staff was great, especially nice to my kids. The board game selection is smaller than other places, but they're all top quality boardgames, without the lame filler cluttering the shelves of larger stores. I strongly recommend this place for your tabletop hobby needs.

Pretty alright store but don't expect to get new releases here, pokemon products are sold at no where near MSRP

Staff is great, but prices are terrible. Just can't brazenly price things at 40-50% over MSRP.

Edit after response from owner: Respectfully disagree. You're explaining how you are actively price gouging. Other local games stores don't have this bold of an upcharge, and the market prices you're describing reflect secondary resellers. MSRP on a One Piece single pack is $4.49, Gametime charges $8. Double packs MSRP $9.99, Gametime $20. Magic Commander Decks MSRP $40-$60. Gametime lists $70-$100+. Single card prices are the worst around. Brick and mortar stores need to be reasonable for the local community who play in store every week and not price products around digital sources. I want your store to succeed, but it's more economical to shop elsewhere. Not pleased with the expalantion provided at all.

This is such a cool place. This Andy guy taught us to play My Hero Academia TCG and everyone working was so nice and knowledgeable. Definitely a really cool little spot. I just love a good game store and I'm glad to have one so close.

Game Time has very helpful and friendly staff. After being out of MTG for several years, I walked in to the store and the staff helped me round up all the pieces I needed to make a new deck and play a tournament that very day. I love they always have the singles I need. I also enjoy the community they foster. You can tell they truly care about their customers and the health of the community.

This is a great local store that has always taken care of me and helped me find what I need. The staff is always really friendly and helpful. The play area is large and clean, they have a great selection on magic and related accessories, and they have a clean restroom. There’s a lot of care that goes into this store, and it shows. I’ve been to plenty of LGSs that left a lot to be desired in terms of service, product selection, and cleanliness, and I have never felt that way at Game Time. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to play some magic or one of the other card games they host events for.
