I went in to purchase some 40k items. I bought one $80 40k model and about $200 in paint. I used the 15% off punch card on the $80 model, as it is useable on 1 item. You are supposed to gain one punch for every $25 spent on non-discounted merchandise. All of the paint is considered "non discounted merchandise", however the girl working the counter said I do not get a new punch card because I used a discount on 1 item in the entire ticket. I said "So I could have just paid for the model and paint separately and still gotten a new punch card? It was $200 in paint", to which she replied "oh yeah, I guess you could have" but still denied me getting a new card, even though the card says "on non discounted merchandise" which technically all the paint was not discounted.. Yes, this is a little thing, but why support your local game store if they do not support you? Amazon is most of the time cheaper and has a better return policy. Just use them.

One of my favorite places to check out for everything from board games to card games like MTG.

Edit: Based on the owner's reply below I was completely mistaken. My review and score is updated accordingly.

If you are a board gamer or comic enthusiasts and live in Prescott, this is your place. From Warhammer, Magic, to comic books and comic related items, this place is full to the brim with fun. Super clean setup, well laid out, with an impressive selection. Back room all ready for any board gamer. Plenty of other vendors and food options within walking distance of this incredible establishment. Cashier has his own personal gamers paradise as he was kind enough to share with me when I was there yesterday. No problem with parking. Go and check them out.

I was in the store and saw an employee named Gabby verbally assaulting the other employees and customers alike. The store overcharges for their tournaments and don't give prizes that are worth it. Their D&D is a pathetic joke that you have to pay to participate in. Their products are not only way overpriced but lackluster at best. I was permanently banned purely because the friend of the owner's wife complained that I was doing better in a card tournament than her after she verbally assaulted my husband in the parking lot.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this fantastic store, Game On, and I can't say enough about the exceptional staff and service they provide. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to assist, and the store is Huge, Spacious and Clean.

The staff's knowledge of their vast selection was impressive, and they were more than happy to answer any questions I had. Their recommendations (Magic Singles) were spot-on, helping me find the perfect card(s) and some awesome suggestions on additional cards.
What truly stood out was their genuine passion for making every customer's experience enjoyable.

Not once did I feel pressured to make a purchase, as the staff was respectful of my browsing time and gave me space to explore (again, it's a huge store). This kind of customer-centric approach is a rarity these days in a game type store and greatly appreciated.

The store's selection of products is a treasure for all types of games. It's evident that the staff takes pride in curating a diverse and exciting range of products, ensuring there's something for everyone.

In summary, The Game On store is a shining example of excellent service and a staff that goes above and beyond to create a memorable shopping experience in a game store environment. Oh, and that big wooden chest filled with dice is just mesmerizing to stare at (it’s a gamer thing).

Awesome, friendly staff with great product knowledge!
Don't know how to play a game, just ask an expert and let the games begin.
Games, Comics, tabletop-wargaming and trading card games from Yu-Gi-Oh to Magic the Gathering. And don't forget a gameroom that runs game specific games every night of the week and Weekends starting at noon.
Awesome Place Indeed!

I sold a fake game at Game On and had no idea it was fake. Gabby pulls me outside and tells me that since my friend sold us a fake game and we saw you get out of his truck then that means you knew it was a fake game. Not like I don't have other friends with a white truck or anything oh no my friend who sold you a fake game is the only man in existence with a white truck seriously. I genuinely had no idea it was a fake game of pokemon that i sold and tried to explain this to her she just borderline yells at me saying that she knows for a fact that I knew it was a fake game. Not everyone knows what a fake game is Gabby geez. Anyways she was horrible to me simply because I sold a fake game to the store and I genuinely had no idea it was fake. It happened one time only one time but I was treated like I do it all the time and was given no chance to explain myself to her period. She acted like she was right no matter what and that I'm just a liar so unprofessional of Gabby. Just wish I had the opportunity to explain myself with an open minded employee and not be treated like I'm the scumbag. They were just absolutely unprofessional all around.
