3 Visits, 3 Strikes, and here's a review.

The customer service at Game Nite is comically bad. I'm an introvert and even I require a bit more decorum and kindness when interacting with people than Game Nite is capable of providing. My first visit here, probably two months ago was rough. We went in to buy MTG singles. Of the card shops in the city, Game Nite has the worst singles selection. Whatever you're looking for, they don't have it, and if they did they wouldn't know they had. They hand you boxes and then look at you constantly, unless you want something that costs more than $5 dollars and then they hand you a binder and hover over you—weird, borderline offensive interaction.

Second trip was nothing notable, stopped in to buy some packs for the fiance because they were having a bad day. Didn't think anything of the interaction because I was trying to get in and out that day. Then compare that to interaction three and it makes sense that it was just more terrible customer service.

Third time, today I walked in to look at sleeves. They're in a glass case that faces to behind the register so I waited to be helped. The sleeves are all facing the opposite direction as their color samples, so I had to ask to see two. Apparently I should have known that I wanted the second color because the guy helping me was pissed off about me asking to see a second color. Oh, and when the light was putting up a glare so I couldn't see the color, I went to adjust it and he jerks the box away from me like I did something wrong. The cash out process was equally awkward. I almost feel like I offended him by attempting to exchange pleasantries. No receipt offered, no thank you, no invitation to come back.

If every LGS in STL closed its doors except for Game Nite, I'd drive to Indiana to not go back.

This has to be the best table top game store I've been to in St. Louis. They have a huge selection for board games, table top, and role play. They also have plenty of tables and space to play inside.

I love coming here! A great place to shop for games of all styles and also a place to play them. There are tons of games available to demo at any time, and they hold events almost every day for tournament, draft, and free play of such games as Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Starfinder, Star Wars Unlimited, and multiple Star Wars miniatures games. If you like these kind of games, then you will not be disappointed!

I've been to just about every game/card shop in the St. Louis area and I have to say this one feels the most welcoming. I don't feel like their out to nickel and dime me or take advantage of crazy market price increases. Will be back to buy games and cards in the future.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I brought my kid in to play a 2 headed giant magic sealed event. They didn't get enough teams to have the event which is fine things happen. So we ask if we can switch to a draft or regular sealed even or just pay for two random people to join and then drop from the tournament. We are told no. I tell the worker that we are sorry that we are all being a bit difficult we just are trying to find a way to play and he snapped back at us that its too late for that and we are just making things difficult. Every time I have been into this shop I have experienced rude players stomping low power tables with cedh and (sometimes) rude staff. I'm not giving the shop another chance or another dollar.

This is a nice enough place, but they have a very silly policy about Magic 2-headed giant events. If enough teams don't enter, they don't give prize support. They'll still take your $70 and don't offer a refund (not to say they wouldn't give it if requested, idk about that, it just wasn't offered), but you won't win packs as expected. But then they also won't let players agree to change the event to standard 1v1 or even pay in for one more team to make the event "fire." Very dumb policy, and I have no reason to go back given that there are probably more similar dumb policies.

Went to Game Nite for my first Age of Sigmar game, instead I found myself new friends. The community is what makes this place a 5-star place.

Super friendly staff, good number of tables, decently priced, and a ton of options to feed your hobby fix.

I recommend people that just started or long time hobbyist to come here and try out their store.

I've been in the community for just about 3 years, and this store has by far one of the best AoS community in the city.

New location with vast interior that devotes as much space to playing games as it does to buying them. To your right is a diverse selection of board games, card games, and accessories, plus a helpful staff eager to talk about their offerings. To your left you’ll find row after row of open tables for playing board games, D&D, Magic the Gathering, and more. They have a schedule available online listing daily events, which seem to fill up fast. And you can even bring in your own games or play something from the demo shelves.

Don’t hesitate to ask to play a game before you buy! These folks will clear a felt-topped table, open a demo box of that game you’re eyeing, and they’ll teach you all the ins and outs so you can buy with confidence. They’re also open to you and your friends bringing outside food and drink (non-alcoholic) to their tables, and they sell soda and chips on site.

The only negative I have is that it’s just a shame that this place doesn’t sell comics too.
