We go to Funky Monkey for all of our gift giving needs and are never disappointed. They have a great selection of toys for all ages and the staff is also extremely helpful to guide you into the best options. The gift wrapping is also great - making gift giving stress free! The cherry on top for our family was when they generously donated a gift card to be used in a raffle at an event run by a non-profit. It means so much when locally owned businesses contribute to philanthropic efforts in our community. I’ve been coming to Funky Monkey since I was a child myself (lol!). I came here today to buy some items for a special occasion and get them beautifully wrapped. I always find my way back here because of the excellent selection of toys and books, but what really has me returning is the excellent customer service. Dana helped me today. She was so kind, professional, and accommodating. She did a beautiful job putting my presents together! It looks so so beautiful and I can’t wait to give it to them. Thank you Dana!!!!

What an awesome toy store! I was visiting family in Long Island for a few days when my aunt and I went shopping for Christmas. There was a great variety of options and all of the employees were so lovely, especially Morgan! She helped my aunt and I figure out what to get my siblings and cousins for Christmas and she was very fun to talk to. There hasn’t been a toy store in person that I’ve seen in a while like this one and I recommend to anyone in the area for sure.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Courtney was amazing! I could not have been more blown away by her help and thoughtfulness when I needed to buy presents for 5 different kids of varying ages!!! Ask for her for your next present-needs! You won’t be sorry.

Shopping at Funky Monkey is not just an ordinary toy store, it’s an experience. The variety of items they have is unimaginable. I could spend hours just looking at the marvelous selection of toys, crafts and personalized gifts in stock. I would like to single out Debbie, the Manager and all-around maestro responsible for the smooth running of the store. I have been working with Debbie for years. She is not only very personable, but she is incredibly knowledgeable, patient and most of all she has her finger on the pulse of what is the “hot” item of the moment. Debbie is also an amazing artist. I have personalized items from her that have been in my family for years and I intend to keep them for my children’s, children.

Such a great place! Went to pick up some gifts with my children after not shopping there for a few years - they have a great variety of fun toys as well as educational and craft items. The young woman who helped us was very polite, helpful and loquacious.

The employee with the pink dress on Vday needs to be trained on how to treat customers. This store carries kid toys and books and the employees that I dealt with were not even friendly. I am glad that I didn’t bring my kids here with me. Although the store is nice, due to the customer service I won’t be returning .
