Honestly why is the only employee at the store an elderly lady that CLEARLY did NOT want to be there!? it looked like she was in her 90s and STILL she is not retired!? Everything is a rip off as well and poor selection. Mostly Lionel. Cash only too!? What is this train store!? one star added because that DMC deLorean is quite nice.

I tried to sell some trains and accessories on Black Friday. Between the woman that answered the phone, it was VERY CLEAR, SHE DID NOT WANT TO BE THERE! When we showed up with sealed (never opened trains) and she wasn't interested, it was clear a sale couldn't be made! One of our trains was selling on an online auction website for over $150! We asked if she would be offended if we offered to the 2 customers that were in the store, and she gave us the "go ahead." We offered to other interested people shopping in the store, and she made disguested noises from her perch! In the end, she yelled at 1 of her customers, saying "children just ruin things!"
Please, avoid this jumble shop/car museum, there is nothing in the store, and be prepared to be yelled at! Not going back, just donating our trains to a museum and children's hospital, and avoiding the store in future!

Probably the best museum I've been to since moving here in August 2021. Being a train collector myself I'm used to seeing large collections of Bachman, Athearn, etc. Trust me when I say, I have never seen a Lionel collection that was this emmence and diverse. I was like a kid in a candy and kool-aid store, with no parental supervision!
Definitely if you love trains, and vintage cars particular from the early 20th century, then will do yourself a huge injustice by NOT checking out the collection of Frank the Trainman at the J A Cooley Museum. Not too mention, the family who owns the museum also run it. Which they have got to be some of the kindness, nicest people I've met since moving here. GO!

It's basically like a permanent train show table; some real hidden gems among the rest. Not somewhere I would go for new stuff but still worth a look.

A great store. The little older woman was wonderful, very helpful. If you're looking for O scale, this is the place to go. They do have HO and N scale, but not as much as O scale. It's like a train meet, most things are in trays or boxes. You gotta hunt through stuff, but you'd be surprised at what you can find. If I had had more time, I could have spent hours in that store. Great place for used trains, highly recommend it!

Im going to be honest here there wasn't a great inventory when I went there for my test drive of my car I saw the building inside was a mess and not very organized I saw a few classic cars taking up a huge amount of space that could have been used for model train inventory. The place also only does cash so that didn't make it east for me when I went for those who don't mind this carry cash and you will find some classic Lionel trains for sure as for ho scale uhhhh good luck is all I can say oh and parking is a nightmare.

Visiting from out of town. Wanted to find a train store to browse. Had a large selection of Lionel mostly from 80s and early 90s. Customer service was not the best. The older lady had troubled communicating and made me felt pressured to leave. The gentleman kind of creeped out my girlfriend. Would of bought some rolling stock had this experience been not so weird.

Mixed feelings about this place. It's close to home, and nice to rummage through their inventory but.......they don't seem very helpful or even knowledgeable about model trains. In fact they don't seem like they want to be there at all. Please be aware, they ONLY take cash, no cards of any kind.
