It's always clean. No problem finding what I need. If I need help, the workers are very willing to help me. The cashiers are very kind and polite. Even the workers in the meat department go above and beyond to help. They all deserve a raise.

I've been shopping at FoodMax for a long time and have never had any problems or experienced anything embarrassing—until today, around 4:20 PM. I always use the coupons provided in the aisles and have never had an issue using them during checkout with different cashiers. However, today was different.

As I was checking out, I had a coupon in hand from the store that offered 50 cents off per item. I’ve always used just one coupon, regardless of how many items I purchase, because the coupon has the same barcode. But the cashier, an older lady I hadn’t seen before, got annoyed with me and claimed the coupons weren’t valid. When she asked her coworker, the coworker confirmed that the coupons were available in the aisle and applied the discount.

What bothered me was that the cashier then told me to grab more coupons since I had purchased multiple items. I explained that I’ve always used just one coupon and other cashiers have allowed it, but she insisted I was wrong and got frustrated with me in front of other customers. Feeling embarrassed, I went back to grab more coupons, which held up the line.

I have bad anxiety, and the experience was overwhelming. When I got home, I realized all the coupons had the same barcode, so grabbing more was unnecessary. The whole situation left me frustrated and confused.

Happy Memorial day….I just bought a large almost $20 fruit platter from food max and fruit tasted spoiled…literally I spit it back out. Back to the store for a refund it goes. Also they are not answering their phones right now. Could be closed. But I will be taking this back first thing tomorrow morning. That platter was too much money loose. zi wish you could all smell it.

The first time I've been followed in a store, and accused of stealing. SMH. I didn't get his name but he's tall, white, and has brown hair, chubby figure and side burns. I spend a lot of money in this store and this is how I get treated? Wow! James is one of the best workers in that store in late night shifts.

This FoodMaxx has a very nice butcher's section with a good selection of local fresh meat and friendly and helpful butchers. They also have a great selection of produce that is taken care of pretty well. Not to crowded before 9 am which makes for a pleasant shopping experience. The prices here are some of the lowest you can find and there's always some good specials in the meat department.
