I called them on 12/12 to inquire about a toy. They told me they don't carry it, but would request it from another store. Awesome! I called multiple times thereafter to find out if they'd received it. Once, someone picked up (!!) and said they'd find it and call me back. Not sure what the previous person had done, then? They never called back. So I called another store in Berkeley who was INFINITELY more helpful in locating the toy and then called the store that actually had it in stock - the Berkeley 4th street location. They held it for me and I drove there to pick it up. This is after over a week of getting absolutely nothing for I can't imagine what reason fro the Lafayette store. I picked up the toy on Weds. They just called me today, Saturday, to tell me their numbers were off and they didn't have the toy in the company's inventory anywhere. ? What a mess! The chain should be grateful they have SOME great stores and reliable staff elsewhere in the Bay!

The cutest little toy store! Amazing selection and some great finds. The prices are great too. A visual treat for sure, the more you look, the more you see. Can't wait to go again!

We love that there is a local toy store. We frequented the Walnut Creek location regularly. The reason for the poor review is the staffing at this location. On several occasions the location has been “run” by a particular person with a challenging disposition. On these days, we don’t shop there. Additionally, this disposition seems to filter to other personnel. We have been in on other days and the experience is pleasant. I feel bad leaving this feedback and we want success for small businesses. We hope for a renewed service approach from this person or a staff change.

It’s a really nice store with a good selection for all ages of kids (including some Lego sets I really want for myself!). They even gift wrap your purchases for free. One-stop solution when you need a gift.

Great selection of toys for all ages, well curated options, friendly personnel, and good prices. They even wrap all the presents for you. We’ll be doing all our kid’s Christmas shopping here!

Wonderful selection of toys for every age (0-100), interest and budget. Prices are similar to big stores (e.g., Target). It's a good place for kids to play and explore. I especially like that they carry a good selection of books and activity/sticker books. We will probably give gift cards for the holidays so recipients can choose their own toys in person; it's a memorable experience.

Parking is easy but can be tight for SUVs. Otherwise there is street parking on Moraga Road. Pro tip: Bring coins if you are making a quick visit and don't want to pay the $1.50 credit card minimum for the parking meters.
