a cute resale shop I stumbled upon in town & country! had much fun browsing through many, many options on the rack (luxury bags, jeans, tops, shoes, etc.) and trying on pieces 🎀🪞

items are decently priced and reflect their conditions. I'm new to thrifting so while I didn't get anything, the layout and organization of the store made the experience enjoyable 🙂

One of the best thrift/consignment shops I've been too. Super organized and great prices. The crowd is younger and the clothes reflect that, but there are so many timeless AND fun going-out options. There is a rack in the back for designer brands. Prices are reasonable, I bought a dress from Aritizia for $20-$30. It was very busy on a Saturday evening, so go now to grab the best pieces.

Found the item i looked for in 5 minutes of entering the store. The place was neatly organized. Many good branded items available for a reasonable price. Will be visiting often 🙂

Used to come here to buy and was enjoyable (hence 2 stars instead of 1). Selling here is inefficient to the point of being a complete waste of time and very bizarre procedurally. I came at 10:30 am on a weekday and waited over an hour and a half. Then the three ladies were standing around talking to each other even when I was notified it was my turn. Then was offered $37 for three pairs of designer shoes out of the ones I'd brought. Needless to say, declined to sell the shoes (the buyer had already unpackaged everything and starting tagging things before telling me the price, them backtracked after I told her I'd rather just give them away and tried to offer more, but she'd already lost me at that point.)

Also, the buyers' taste has gone more to Gen Z and fast fashion over good quality and I think that is reflected in the buying process and what is available on the shelves. I don't consider myself particularly old as a working 37 yo professional but have found less and less appealing here over time.

The store is great idea, unfortunately sometimes they extremely selective and don’t take new clothes and good brands. Few times I have to come back to work with another employee to make them look and excepted. So it’s always depends of a sales person, but it shouldn’t be the case.

My new fave! Had a bit of time to kill between appointments and asked Google for "thrift stores near me". So happy to find Filmore and 5th! Within 10 minutes I had a great Free People dress that fit, (I'm a 5'2" 155 lb. 57 year old 🙂), Madewell mules I adore and an adjustable and oh-so-versatile bag from the Sak. Brands I love and great prices; both hard to come by on online sites. Plus, nothing beats in store shopping! Thank you for a wonderful experience and inventory!!

Once again, I had a wonderful experience with assistant manager, Sarahi, who along with manager, Veronica, run one of the few really fabulous clothing consignment locations in Palo Alto.

Sarahi helped me consign my clothing today and she is highly professional in sizing up brands and assigning fair value. I can then either ask for cash on the spot or add my proceeds to “store credit” (a little higher %).

Today I used store credit to purchase a brand hew Loewe handbag. The price was high, but very fair compared to retail or other consignment location and online sites. The store carries designer clothing, handbags, shoes and also branded and unbranded pieces across a cost/value spectrum.

I am a well-versed shopper and I cannot overstate how much I appreciate having Fillmore and Fifth in the neighborhood.
