What a beautiful store & friendly staff. My mom and I took a drive to Sacramento just for a girl's day and we accidentally found Fabric Garden. We could not have been happier. Julie greeted it and was so pleasant she was helpful in helping us look around. We didn't know what we were looking for but Julie brought out our visions. Next time we are in Sacramento we will stop in. Thank you for the experience.

Super helpful folks at this gorgeous and homey fabric store. I brought my mom and she was really impressed with the variety and quality of the fabrics on display. They offer many classes for quilting and other sewing techniques. All around a great place to purchase fabric and sewing supplies.

This is my second visit here. We were up from San Diego way, visiting family. A definite stop for me, (along with Babetta's Yarn Shop.) Staff have been absolutely wonderful both times. So helpful and friendly. Lovely selection of fabrics and notions. Will always visit here, every time I come up. I'm jealous of the locals!

Wonderful quilting shop. This was my first time there, and I was blown away by their selection and organization. Many of the fabrics are available in pre-cut fat quarters and half-yards. Excellent since I just needed a little of one print to add to a quilt I'm designing. Prices are a bit higher than the big box fabric/craft stores, which is to be expected. They also have tons of patterns and Quilt of the Month classes.

Though this shop is a 40 - 45 minute drive for me, it is well worth the travel time and gas. The store is visually beautiful, and all the fabrics, notions, quilt patterns, etc. are arranged thoughtfully. My first visit was yesterday and I had a quilt project in mind to buy fabric for. I was able to find all of the fabrics I needed for the quilt, and the sales staff was friendly, readily available to answer questions, and very helpful. Their prices are competitive for quilt quality fabrics and notions. This will definitely be the quilt shop I head to for all of my future quilting needs.

This was my first visit, and I was very impressed. Not only is it closer than the other quilt shop I have been buying from but, it has more of a variety of items to choose from. Not just from fabric but lots of notions to. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the store. I believe Sandy is the employee who helped me. I asked a couple of questions, and she was able to answer them for me. I had to make it somewhat of a quick visit because I had my little guy with me.
I wasn't sure what to expect "shopping" with him in a new store. Overall, he did very well. As for shopping I found great choices of half yards and fat quarters for my small projects for my family as gifts. This is definitely my local quilt shop for designer fabrics. I do wish they sold other brands of thread and zippers. No worries! The fabric alone made me very happy.
The prices are not bad either from comparing to websites that I shop with. You figure you have to pay for shipping and then wait for x amt of days. Here you get to see it before you purchase it, and you don't have to wait. All around nice employee (Sandy), clean store, very organized, lots of room to move around, and they even have a restroom for customers.
Keep up the good work!

Such a helpful happy place. Excellent selection of fabric, rulers and notions. I wasn't looking for patterns or thread but it looked like a good selection of both. Very nice staff. I'll definitely be back!
