Really enjoyed our stay here. We were able to make great use of the common areas, cooking a lot of meals, playing games, and associating with the other travelers. Our bunk bed mattresses were extremely comfortable. The location was pretty convenient, allowing us to park our car and walk around town after our day’s out. Best part was the hostel kitty Lucy.

This is a find, quiet, reasonable and comfortable. This is like an upscale version of a hostel, the room has all the basic amenities and a private bathroom, just no TV or formal closet. Ample parking, communal kitchen and refrigerator, convenient to restaurants. And they serve great coffee in the AM! Contactless check in, friendly staff. Will definitely stay here next time we are in Bishop, wish I knew about this place sooner!

Our room was bunk beds built by them. I knew there were bunk beds but didn't realize they built them.

Immediately got a splinter because the wood isn't sanded and finished.

It's around 1:30am and there's strong pot smell and the next door guests are incredibly loud as the walls are paper thin.

If you intend to play hard during the day and pass out at night, this isn't the place.

As for service, there's a girl at times at a desk but does absolutely nothing for the guests. This place isn't cheap, but I think maybe Groupon crowd comes here. Very gangster vibe guests.

My dad and I had a wonderful time staying at the Eastside Guesthouse. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and well stocked. The outside spaces were a dream for a remote worker and the shared community space with kitchen and fridge access was fantastic. We commend them for their decarbonized heating and cooling using heat pumps. The washer and dryer worked great for a cheap price. Perfect for a backpacking base camp or stay in Bishop. The location is walkable to all the great spots in Bishop. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and keen to chat along with assist in any issues which would come up. The parking was ample and allowed us to turn around our large van with ease. Lucy the cat is a sweet companion to anyone who stays and we loved watching the ducks bob around in the pond on site. Could not recommend staying here highly enough - definitely the spot to go in Bishop!

We have stayed here multiple times and this stay is multiple nights and multiple rooms. Though I've given the benefit of the doubt each time, the guests who stay here are noisy, dirty and abusive. This place attracts ghetto clientele who keep us up throughout the night and wreaking of pot smell. We will move to a different motel in the morning. DO NOT STAY HERE. look at the profiles of their reviews... they are fake.

Only good thing is it's next to the most awesome bakery. They open st 6... go get fresh baked sourdough loafs of bread.
Trey also make amazing sandwiches. Enjoy.

We had an absolutely great experience. A cozy and homey setting, very nice people, and a high level of service. The common areas create a real family vibe among all the guests. We made some new friends as a result - an additional benefit!

I love staying here when I’m in Bishop. The rooms are great and the staff is always friendly (and the coffee is always great too). It is centrally located and everything you need is within walking distance. I recommend this place to everyone.
