I’ve been going to this hobby store for years. The selection is great, and if they don’t have it, the owner, Doug, will special order it for you. All the employees are knowledgeable and willing to help you find what you are looking for. They also have a large area for gaming. If you are in to model making, war gaming, or even comic books go here, you won’t regret it.

Supports table-top gaming, including Command Decision, Flames of War, Napoleonics, Blackpowder, Star Wars. Lots of painting and terrain supplies. Also some board/card games like Munchkins, comic books, Osprey history books, and plastic models. Six game tables for in-store play.

Staff is very helpful. Owner will social order for you. Regular orders by gamers. Several gaming groups use the store. Various games running weekends and some during the week. Occasional tournaments.

Shop owner Doug Ray is probably one of the most knowledgable FLGS owners around. The staff is pleasant and eager to help. Combine that with ample space to game and you have an outstanding local resource,
If they don't have it they will get it for you. I have been a customer for years and will continue to be one. Eagle and Empire is run by not only a gaming enthusiast but a professional who cares about his customers, I promise if you stop by you will not regret it. Well Done Doug and Company.

Very friendly staff, and other customers! I went to Eagle and Empire to begin a new hobby and get some information. Mike escorted me around the shop, suggesting what I needed to begin my project. He even showed me a few of the things he was working on, and tips on how to begin. You can tell these guys never work a day in their lives, because they love what they do!

Not a gamer so I can't speak on that side of the house. I came for comics as it's the closest place to my new home. The inventory was light compared to most places I've shopped at and the way the books were organized and double flopped over the shelves so that you can't see the front covers, immediately told me that comics are an afterthought for this place. I also asked the ower/manager if he had a certain comic and he says they did not and left it there. No offer to order it. I say go there for the gaming, but if you're looking for comics, drive the extra miles.
