It's hard to decide where to start! We could not have made a better choice for our wedding venue...
We fell in love with this venue the minute we saw it, but what really sold us on it was the sheer flexibility they provide. Dragonfly made sure our wedding would be everything we hoped for. There were no stipulations on vendors. There are multiple amazing locations on site for not just pictures but the ceremony itself (having an indoor/covered option in case of rain really put my mind at ease). They really have all the little details dialed in to make planning a wedding as easy and stress-free as possible.
But where I feel they really knock it out of the park is with their event coordinator, Ana. She made sure payments, planning, and generally keeping everything on track leading up to our event a breeze and was an absolute life-saver on our special day, making sure we stayed on schedule and everyone knew where they needed to be and when. I know Ana will be moving on to the next chapter in her life soon and I'm sad future couples won't get to work with her, but its clear the owners care as much as she does about the service they provide so I'm confident they will take great care in making sure they choose the right person to fill Ana's position.
Thank you again, Dragonfly, for making our day amazing. I would truly recommend your venue to anyone planning on getting married!

This was the perfect wedding venue! There are so many places to get amazing pictures, the property is gorgeous, and best of all, you get Ana. Throughout my entire wedding planning process she was so prompt in answer my questions, she knew so much about the wedding planning process as well as the venders around the area. She was amazing to work with, and anyone that gets Ana on your wedding day is SET! She will make sure your wedding day runs smoothly

The property is also 100% worth the price. You get so many different gorgeous areas to get pictures, as well as a cottage to stay at, which was very convenient to stay at the venue throughout the entire wedding weekend. There is also an indoor and outdoor option for your ceremony, and even if you'd have to have your ceremony indoors, the area is still gorgeous. 100% recommend this venue!

I genuinely don't know where to start with saying how much we loved being Dragonfly brides! When my wife and I were looking at options for our wedding, there really wasn't a question of what venue we loved the most. Every picture made it look magical, and then we toured and we really felt it. A big part of the magic of Dragonfly (aside from the beautiful setting in nature) is having Ana there through the whole process. Ana really helped us when we were unsure of logistics and tradition. She had an answer for every question, and she made it very clear that problem-solving is an inevitable part of her job that she enjoys doing. We knew we were in *very* safe hands working with Dragonfly and with Ana.

The woods make planning a fairytale wedding so effortless. Every picture and video taken of our ceremony was stunning because we had such a lush backdrop behind us. It made everything feel magic!

Having the venue for our rehearsal dinner and guest welcome was such a lovely way to invite people into our weekend in a warm and friendly manner. We also felt so comfortable being in the bridal cottage with our bridal parties! At the end of the night, having the cottage to share a final toast and chat with our loved ones was perfect. It was such a relief to not have to drive home at the end of a very long day/night. We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better experience!

This venue is a dream! Right from the start we knew it was for us. Ana was so sweet and so helpful all the way from the first tour to the wee hours of the wedding night. She made everything that she helped with look beautiful & beyond what I could’ve imagined. This is a wonderful place to get married! Beautiful land and Ana is a wonderful coordinator. So grateful for all of her help 🥰

This venue is absolutely STUNNING!! Every little detail is perfect. There are so many different places on the property that are picture perfect. From the outdoor ceremony location, to the indoor reception venue, with the pond and the beautiful landscaped waterfall. The patio area was perfect for our cocktail hour & the outdoor swing was definitely a favorite on our special day. The house on property is so convenient and Ana is so helpful. I would recommend this venue to any couple who is looking for the perfect spot in Southern Illinois!

We only delivered the cake here but we saw a lot of venues in doing so and this place was really nice in my opinion. I don't know any details on the cost but I would say it could accommodate a small to medium-sized wedding. It has a wonderful outside area for your guests and great picture opportunities. I would recommend giving them a call and seeing if they can meet your needs!

Absolute perfection!! The first and only venue we looked at for our wedding. They have everything you could need, there was really no reason for us to look any further. Ana is a gem and having her expertise and help during the planning process and day of was invaluable. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about what a beautiful, perfect place we picked or how smoothly the day ran. I couldn’t recommend a wedding at Dragonfly more! We will forever be grateful such a perfect day that our families are sure to be talking about for years! ♥️

Once upon a time, there was a magical forest where all your dreams came true and it even came with your own fairy godmother.....oh wait that was the Dragonfly and it's coordinator Ana. Not only is this venue gorgeous but it comes equipped with everything you might need. We loved having the freedom to have our own vendors and really create our own perfect day. I wish weddings were not a one and done type of event bc we would love to spend so many more moments at the dragonfly and with Ana. Ana went above and beyond to help us navigate this journey and we couldn't be more grateful to have her. We highly recommend this venue💜
