Great service! Very welcoming and ready to answer any questions you may have regarding firearms and/or laws.
I transferred guns to a family member. They were friendly and excellent on explaining the process. Not like other stores that make you feel dump for asking something you don’t understand. Their costumer service is unequivocally the best.

I drove over an hour to get there and it was well worth the drive! They are a Very friendly couple and straight shooters (no pun intended) I Got a gun shipped to them for pick up and the process was smooth and quick. They are knowledgeable in guns and the process needed to acquire one. Their prices on ammo and the transfers are very fair and the best around. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for ammo or a gun.

This will be lengthy. First off my review has no bearing on the fact that my son in law was denied the purchase of a gun. Actually, he was never denied the purchase. We spoke with Marty after the 30
day wait but he told us that additional time was required. He did not know why. This was in no way the fault of Double Tap. So we continued to wait. We called several times the next month but Marty continued to say he knew nothing. Still not his fault. We finally talked to Marty after 60 days had passed. He said that he still had not heard anything and he said there was nothing to be done. He said he did not know us in order to allow the sale to go through. He could have allowed us to take possession of the gun. I understand that he did not want to let the sale go through.
Now comes the issues that I feel Marty handled poorly. First off we were charged $80.00 "restocking"fees. For a $400.00 22 rifle. I wonder what the profit would have been if the sale had went through. Restocking from one room to another. If you have been to Double Tap you know it isn't some big wear house that would have required manpower and equipment to "restock." Simply take the gun from one room to the next. Maybe 10 minutes required. I did some research and every dealer I spoke with said they have never charged for restocking. Also, no dealer had ever had a deal go on for 60 days. And lastly, Marty changed his attitude towards us drastically from when we started the transaction till the end. My daughter went to Double Tap the last trip and said there was no way she would go through the process of buying a gun from Marty based on his attitude. His wife is very nice and pleasant to work with. Once again, we do not blame DD that we were unable to purchase a firearm. But 80 bucks just thrown away. And no restocking fees required sign in the store.

My first two experiences were great! Marty and his wife were very helpful and then I needed to have something else adjusted on my Glock and I called ahead of time and I show up and for some odd reason I was denied service. Wasn’t even apologetic about it.That didn’t sit to well with me.

Amazing and respectful people. They’re there to help and answer any questions you have. The best part is they make you feel like you’ve known them for ever !! Will be coming back and be making this my main ammo and gun providers thank you guys !!

First off while it is a residence, the entrance is plainly marked with a sign and a doorbell to let the people know you are there. The showroom is rather small but packed, and there is a whole lot of stuff. Surprisingly they had the gun part exactly what I was looking for at a fair price. Marty and his wife (unfortunately I didn't catch her name) were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Once I decided to make my purchase, Marty's wife talked me through every bit of an exhausting process making sure I filled out the paperwork correctly and completely. They are completely amiable to receive handguns, rifles, and ammo for you since they are an FFL licensee. They do charge a reasonable fee for this service. I am looking forward to establishing a good/working relationship with the owners of Double-Tap. (I left this same review on Yelp.)

I've been to double tap several times buying ammo. They always have what I need at a good price. Very nice people and they treat you with respect.
