Don Rafa's Super Mercado is the best market in Watsonville for their meats variety. Store is neat and clean. Staff is friendly.

Best place to get arrachera and pollo preparado

Went in to have them cut me a 2” thick sirloin steak, but they refused to serve me. So I got a package of 10 chicken legs, of which 4 of the legs were broken. So that turned out to be a frustrating experience. Parking out front is very disgruntling. Not that it is always full but too small.
The cashiers, not all, are borderline rude. They need to pay attention to what they are suppose to be doing.

The last time I will buy at this store!!😡Went in to buy arrachera meat and the guy that attended me was soo rude since they have the ticket numbers to know who is next but they don't always use it, (it's not the first that I have bought at this store )and I didn't know that today they where calling by the tiket numbers since i didn't get one the guy didn't want to attend me .Not only that! ,the guy didn't gave me the meat how I wanted it .
Had a bad experience and the price is to 2dls more per pound than other stores.Dont recommend!

I noticed some people complain about the pricing. I have no problem paying for not only good quality Arrachera but the best tasting in all the surrounding areas. I come from Gilroy and now I have family coming from San Jose. Haven't tried the chicken or seafood but I will review on that when I try it.

Clean store with cold beer. The meat always taste fresh. If you stop by try the marinated tri-tip and chicken you won't be disappointed. Produce is okay, and the hot food is also okay.

Best place in town Pa la carne asada! From the marinated skirt steak, arrachera, abujitas, diesmillo, and their famous pollo pegueros. To their salsas, guacamole, and beer selection. You can even have their deli prepare rice and beans before your big cook out!

Family loves the meat and marinated chicken!! We come from San Jose ca just to buy their meat... specially for a family gathering or bdays!!
Highly recommended!!
