We took our kids to this dinosaur exhibition called "Dinos Alive" in Sacramento, California . The tickets were affordable. We spent for a group of 5 people a total of $144.00 us dollars.
I recommend going during the week in the morning for those who want more space and a good opportunity of getting better pictures without the hassle of big crowds. It says in other reviews that it is not that fun for older kids, but I had a different experience. My family and I enjoyed it. It has interactive games and a little souvenir store, and the bathrooms were spacious and clean. I recommend for the kids that love prehistoric Dinos!

This did not disappoint! Worth the price. Kids had a good time. The exhibit was done very very well.
Shane helped us on the dinosaur ride and with all the items in the gift shop. Highly recommend! Face painting as well done by Carol. Kids had a great time. Staff was awesome!

This place was an absolute blast. It truly was an immersive experience! My daughter absolutely loved it and I'd love to go back a second time for her, too. I think wanting to go back again speaks enough to how fun this exhibit was.

However, what made it so cool was the sounds, the lights, the dinosaurs, and the sign descriptions - it made the whole experience surreal. There was an aquatic area to see prehistoric fish that would respond to your touching of the wall, too.

The exhibit was shorter than I expected, a short walk around the interior of the building - that is, if you just walk through and briefly look at things. But if you read each sign as you go and take your time, it's a lot more engaging and fun! The gift shop was pretty cool too, there were activities for the kids to do like VR, coloring, and riding a dino as well.

Great place to adventure tour for children in the heart of Sacramento. There are dozens of Life sized Animated Dinosaurs. Great activities for kids, VR experiences and Art works also available. Worth to take a group photo includes with the several dino related backgrounds.

We took the 9 year old and she loved it! The animatronics and decorations were fun. She had fun filling out the scavenger hunt of dino facts. We saved money by not getting the VIP. The VR experience seemd pretty lackluster and the folks engaging with it seemed not very excited, including our kid. The VR game is $5/person. They also had two dino's to ride at the end which was akin to those animals rides that used to be in front of grocery stores but larger. They were $6 (large dino) and $5 (small dino), VIP saved you $1 each on the rides. If we did not have a kid with us, it wouldn't have been as interesting; this really is an experience best enjoyed with kids.

FUN DAY! The sounds, the life size dinosaurs, the lighting, the pathways. the interactive areas, the scavenger hunt etc.... For 2 children, an hour is plenty to see and touch it all longer if your child can stand through reading the facts of each dino.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time. This was a surprise early birthday outing for our son's upcoming 6th birthday. Everything was very clean and organized. The dinosaurs were epic and so well done. Our kiddos enjoyed the dino dig and vr experiences. There was no line today and we were easily able to enjoy the experience. The staff were professional, pleasant, and helpful. Everything was great. I only took off a star (more like a half star) because the price was unbelievably steep for the VIP experience, but it was a special occasion.

Very cool dinosaur experience! All 3 kids(3,5,8) loved it! Awesome display and activities! We did the VIP and got a VR experience included!
