Omg this place is awesome. This is my first time, and I am so happy (food makes me happy). The food is delicious, and Texas size portions, yes, the plates are big. The people are great. I am coming back for sure.

The staff is excellent and the food is okay. Stop here if it's on your route but don't go out of your way for it. It's very standard diner serving classic Americana.

We came after a hike at three sisters fall. The service was great, the burgers were so big and delicious. We also had pie and it was amazing. Great place, would definitely repeat.

Breakfast was great. Large portions, perfectly cooked items. The breakfast sausage was the best part.
Service was good, a little quirky, but good.
The atmosphere was rustic, air-conditioned, and flies... Could do without the flies.

Nice indoor dining area with friendly staff and a really good looking menu. I got the chicken fried chicken dinner, which had like a beer battering and two styles of gravy to choose from. We hung out into their happy hour with no pressure from the staff (in fact we thought they might be trying to keep us there until the band got going after 7 o'clock). We wandered down to their really large patio area (see pics for the incredible twilight views) and stayed for a few songs, with a really nice sized crowd of mostly families and double date parties. Really nice experience and I plan on going back.

Tucked away in this little town - Descanso - east county San Diego CA, is this gem of a restaurant, bar, home-away-from-home for the locals. Decor is very western old Town vibe, A satisfying lunch of a House Signature Clubhouse Sandwich which was a plentiful serving arrived in front of us within minutes of ordering. Lunch was a busy time and pretty popular as guests were lining up to be seated and we lucked out and got a couple of seats at the bar. A very friendly gentleman moved his bar chair a bit to offer us more room, and his hospitality reflected with how the staff was like his family. A great homey feeling for us new patrons.
We shall definitely make this a regular lunch or dinner stop in this side of town.

Got the country fried steak meat was low quality and breading was thick with no flavor honestly it’s like rubber with breadcrumbs I’ve had better at dennys. Country gravy was basically just flower flavored. Soup was under flavored only thing I liked was the corn bread and the hospitality. And by that I mean the service wasn’t great but the people where nice and sense it’s a small town you gotta tip well

The attention was great! From the moment we entered through the door we felt welcome, the service was pleasant, but when we saw the photos of the menu we did not imagine more delicious and quality food, unfortunately, that was not the case. One of the most important things is food and they really do work on that. They would have 5 stars for sure.
