Buyers beware! I went to return items from Christmas and I was told they don’t do that, you only have two weeks from the time of purchase and that’s it. I was not told this when I made the purchase. I understand if something is on sale you get a credit but not full price during the holidays no extended returns is not right! If I knew they did this for Christmas I would’ve never shopped there. They are rude and don’t care if people return. I like supporting local stores, will no-longer support this one! once this credit is use up I will never shop there again! They act like they don’t need people, guess what without us you would not be in business!

Worst customer service ever, I walked in, and they were surprised how it was open, and I asked for 2 mins to grab something and she said no, while taking two customers at the counter. Unprofessional. Not my fault they left their doors open after closing. Not sure if it was a race thing or not. But I could’ve grabbed something real quick. Knew what I wanted…

Went in once and will never go again.
I went to buy some clothing for my girlfriend she gave me a list what to look for with sizes. The place was very disorganized and a madhouse. Trying to find help where items were was extremely difficult. I asked a woman at the register and she didn’t tell me correct location because the clothing I was looking for wasn’t where she said it was, but she admitted being new so I let that slide. I decided to look around the store myself because I was getting very annoyed waiting for help. I notice this blonde employee following me, I turn around and she actually said why are you in the women’s clothing area? That alone left a bad taste in my mouth asking me that. I then replied I cannot find anything I am looking for in store for my girlfriend and nobody is helping me. I gave the list I needed and she said we don’t have what you need. I told her your cashier said you do and she actually yelled at this poor girl saying why don’t you get your information right. I felt bad and told her it’s not her fault this place is disorganized and you don’t have proper help. Then the blonde employee said oh I found something you are looking for, I looked at the clothing and said I need an XL size, she then replied “why can’t your girlfriend fit in a large”? I was so upset at that degrading comment in front of everyone I said loudly “It’s too bad you discriminate plus size shoppers” and walked out. I went to gap next door and found what I needed there with no issues.

I wish the employees were nice but they are so rude especially the managers. I go there often to shop for my kids because they do have cute clothing but every time I go the employees are just rude!.

Tried to exchange one pants I bought for my son but I lost the receipt and my son pulled the tags off when he was trying it on so the tags were not attached on the pants and the manager was so nasty with me.
I understand the retail business and if she politely told me there is nothing we can do I'm so sorry, but she was like no I'm not taking this back. I told her please I just need one size up and she was like no and left, ignored me. Everytime I go there they have no manners. They just talk with each other and ignore you when you ask for help. I will never go again there to shop and I will tell my friends and family to stay away that location and spend their money somewhere else!

The rudest, nastiest, animalistic managers work here. They act like they own the place and are arrogant and condescending to everyone. Never in my life have I met such people. They have to really hate their entire existence to treat others with so much disrespect. No customer service skills whatsoever. Forget about making a return because they will make you regret buying anything in the first place. Definitely not a place I would bring my child… They act as if this is the only store that sells children’s clothing. Save your money, they literally have the same brands elsewhere. The staff deserve much better. I don’t know how they tolerate such abuse it’s actually very sad. Also don’t know how the owner lets their business be run by heinous clowns.

Let me just start off by saying I was racially profiled while being at Dennys. My little sister wanted to take a look in there store because she was saying how the clothing was very trendy. This lady and all the other employees kept following me and my little sister around the store. Seems like everywhere we went there was the same lady folding and re folding clothes just to keep an eye on us. Let me remind you that I had no bags or anything that I could use to conceal anything . I felt very judged by their staff. In my 25 years of living I’ve never experienced such racism in a store. I understand that this store might have been a primarily white… but WOW. Worst and most uncomfortable situation I have ever been in while shopping .

I just left the Plainview location, I’ve shopped for my girls here before and the location in Bellmore, not often because they’re expensive but when theres a sale it’s worth it. That being said never ever have I felt racially profiled until today! I’m so upset, the women who kept following me didn’t even ask if I needed help. She just kept popping up everywhere I went. Unfortunately I see on these reviews that the Plainview location has done this to others before. So buyer be aware, you may have the experience I had, which I’m very truly upset about. It happened at the Plainview location, the Bellmore location never did this and have always been helpful.

i shop here all of the time with my siblings and i love it! yes some of the clothes are a little pricey, but all of the clothes, accessories, etc are so cute,trendy, and amazing quality! the line took me 5 mins the people who work there are so kind and the customer survive is so good . the staff are so helpful and always find cute outfits for any occasion. so what i am trying to say is when the store opens get off of your couch and get into your car and drive to dennys to have the best shopping experience of your life!!
