I got an egg on a hard roll and a small coffee. On the large sign out from it advertises that for $3.25 I was charged $7.29 When I asked why I was told that typically they only sell it to you at the advertised price if you bother to mention it. It is not legal to have an advertised price and sell at a higher price. This is extremely slimy business practice and a disgusting way to try to rip people off for a few dollars where they believe they can get away with it. I also say this as a manager of a restaurant myself and I live locally. It's really embarrassing and disappointing to have someplace so close to home when we have so few businesses treat people in their own community like this. In addition to their poor business practices, they also charge an additional 4% on credit cards which is illegal.

I really want to like this business because it's so nice to have in a town where there's so few options, but maybe I went on a bad day?
It seems as though most people like it, and maybe basic deli sandwiches are the best choice.
The following sentence is a copy & paste of another review about the meatball sub, so either it was a day when the cook was out or the person who wrote the review has low expectations:
"Nice and hot crispy bread good sauce and the meatballs are juicy and delicious."
I ordered a meatball sub w/ eggplant and a side of sweet potato fries.
The meatballs & eggplant were about 90% breadcrumbs.
The fries were soggy, and sopping in vegetable oil.
The meatballs had a thimbleful of sauce and were so thick with bread that it was completely dry and flavourless.
The eggplant was about a teaspoonful once the thick, wet breading was removed.
They were super nice on the phone & the girl at the window was lovely, so I truly wish I could say that there was something redeeming about this 16.00 meal.
I'm not giving up yet though, & will order a breakfast sandwich or regular deli sandwich next time because I'm hoping it was just a bad day or the cook was out.
It's awful giving a lacklustre review to anyone because running a food business is hard, but my hope is that the owner might take the heavy use of breadcrumbs & lack of tasteful sauce into consideration.
Definitely not expecting a Michelin star deli experience, but people (especially now w/ the inflation situation) feel ripped off if something as basic as a quality sandwich- bears the obviousness of cheap ingredients & too much filler.
I completely understand the need to make profit by using as much filler as possible, but had I eaten the content of breading in the meatballs & eggplant I may as well have just eaten a loaf of bread.
As much as Stewart's is just a convenience store, their meatball subs at least have a sauce w/ flavour & the meatballs aren't dry & thickly breaded.

1st time ordered on phone went to pick it up and they gave somebody else our order. Second time ordered at the window and the sandwiches were not correct. Make sure you check that you have the right order and everything is correct before you leave.

So I order a sandwich with a slice of pizza. The lady at the counter was nice but she completely forgot my pizza slice and the menu item I did get was overcharged. I waited for her to come back to the window and she disappeared. My sandwich was very slim on the meat pretty sure there was only 2 slices of pepperoni and ome slice of cheese .. I probably won’t be back for a $10 sandwiches that was listed as a $7.49 on the menu

Been to this place a few times always good quality and great price. Every time I've called in, the staff there's always exceptionally nice, which I think is harder and harder to find. Will continue to support here.

Delicious food! I got the burger wrapped in lettuce, no bun, add bacon for my keto diet. It was tasty. Unique place as there is no dine-in but rather four drive up windows for quick service.

We stop at the place several time a week. You get a good bang for your buck. They have 4 windows and unfortunately many times you can wait at one of the windows without getting any service for several minutes. This is not very good when you are in a hurry. I was told when this happens, call on the phone to notify them that I'm at a window? Apparently if you are in a big truck, they notice you easier. My biggest pet peeve is if you pay with a debit card (which I imagine most people in the area do), they automatically charge you an extra 4% more even though it's a debit card and not a credit card. No other place does this. A Debit card is considered cash even at gas stations. Definitely something wrong or illegal with this practice. The owner and employees are pleasant and polite.
