The chocolate covered strawberries were delicious! Fresh and juicy berries with the perfect ratio of chocolate. We also tried the special holiday pop and it was very tasty, similar to coke with a distinct juniper berry twist.

Looking forward to trying more of the chocolate samplings and treats on offer!

In the last two years, I've made it a bit of a tradition to gift my FIL a treat from The Confectionary for his birthday. I live out of state, but it's always easy to work with the employees through their website and email, and it's clear they care deeply about their customers' satisfaction. Betsy, in particular, was so thoughtful this year in offering to hand-deliver the chocolate-dipped cherries I'd ordered. She was also quick in responding to email when a little mishap occurred. I'd definitely recommend her business for all your sweet-tooth and gift-giving needs!

The Confectionary is a nice little place to curb your sweet tooth while you're in DeKalb. I like to come for the different sodas they have, but they have a whole bunch of different candies and chocolates available too. Definitely recommended if you're in town.

I really liked this small shop. First time here and we originally stopped for the chocolate, but there were LOTS of other great candy items for sale also.
Store was clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. If you're in the area, definitely make the stop.

Wow I went in there to photograph something for real estate and Todd the owner helped out and gave me a dark chocolate salted caramel to sample which was kind of him....and WOW so amazing!!!! I had to buy $25 more of them because they were just beautiful in every taste bud of every bite! 😋😋😋😋😋

There really isn't any competitor chocolate company that can compare to the confectionary. Fannie May is leagues behind this location as far as quality If I would have to recommend an item for the confectionary to experiment with is try chocolate covered freeze dried candy. It might be a cool thing to toy with.

I wish I could come here everyday!! The chocolate is to die for and I love all the other treats!! The owners and workers are so nice and helpful. Once I mentioned how I thought a cow tail display looked cool and Todd let me take two of them! I still have the cups displayed! Another time I had a giftcard and they left a register open just for me to keep a running total to make sure I could use all of my gift card!! My favorite is the chocolate truffles (I think they’re truffles?) flavored raspberry and orange. I also love the sea monsters, caramel apples, chocolate covered cherries, and Harry Potter chocolate frogs!! They also have delicious craft soda!! And a variety of jelly belly beans including lots of my favorites. Must try place in DeKalb, I’m always smiling in there!

So many really cool things here! Lots of unique flavors and confectionaries. The chocolate was delicious - smooth, perfect sweetness, high quality. The fruit & nuts are fresh and high quality. Prices are very affordable. Customer service was very friendly & fast. I would recommend this place a million times over
