My daughter has been taking Irish Dance at DBA for the last year and a half & loves it! Her teacher, Tara, is fantastic & my daughter adores her! She really cares about each student & ensures that they are well prepared before they begin competing! Tara is committed to teaching her students the importance of hard work & perseverance in a fun and supportive environment. We feel so lucky to have found Tara & to be a part of the wonderful DBA community she has created!

De Barra Academy has been a gift to our family since our daughter met Tara through an after school program and fell in love with Irish Dance (and Ms. Tara). That was almost six years ago now and she hasn’t wavered from her desire to go to class and work hard to improve. This is a testament to Tara and the community she has created through the love she puts into teaching our kids. DBA is a family!

My two daughters have been attending DeBarra Academy for several years. It is a wonderful community to be a part of. Tara is a world-famous teacher who teaches with as much heart and passion as one could have. Not only have the girls learned the art of Irish dance, but they have also learned to win and lose gracefully and support their teammates. It's fun; it's community; it's the life lessons that make you strong. We love DeBarra!

My 7 yo daughter has been part of the De Barra Academy Family for 18 months and she absolutely loves it. She had never attended a dance class before joining DBA and neither had I. What I thought would be a twice a week hobby for her has turned into so much more. She has taken to it like a moth to a flame and a big part of that is purely to do with her teacher, Tara. Tara is a down to earth Irish Mom that has extreme talent, passion and dedication for Irish dance and the kids she teaches (and hapened to be a principle dancer for Riverdance) She puts her heart, soul, blood sweat and tears into getting these kids to where they want to go and I for one could not be happier about about the fact that my daughter is being mentored by her.

I love Debarra Irish Dance Academy. My daughter started dancing with this studio about a year ago and the teacher and students welcomed her with open arms. Mrs. Tara knows her stuff like the back of her hand. She is AMAZING with the students. I am so happy I found this dance academy.
