I always go to Dave's to get my chainsaw chains sharpened. I have bought two Echo chainsaws and an Echo weed eater from Dave's. Always great customer services from Dave and a friendly atmosphere with Dave's wife.

I took my chain saw into Dave's small engines for maintenance because it was bogging out. When my buddy picked it up and brought it to me it had a 3 inch shorter bar on it, the chain was sharpened on one side and rounded off on the other, the shorter bar had too long of a chain on it and he pulled the bar out away from the tensioner and locked it down with the bolts (this is extremely unsafe), and it still bogs down. I called and asked him about it and he was extremely rude and insinuated that I was a fool who didn't know what he had brought in to get serviced. This place charged me $60 to not only not fix my problem but they robbed me of my bar and chain and returned a product that extremely unsafe to operate and insulted me in top of it. I strongly recommend going anywhere but here. I will be reporting this place to the better business bureau.

ralph is a great mechanic. not only does he do excellent work, but he also takes time to teach you how to care for your motors. i have bought a couple of higher dollar items from him and his prices are in line with home depot/lowes, and the service is much better.
