Crazy Squirrel Game Store - Fresno, California

So I just want to say that I had already heard less than stellar things about the store. I did my best to work past them and to give them a chance because maybe I would have a different experience with the store. The few times they have actually carried what I wanted to pick up, I have been able to with moderate to no pain involved in the process. However, every time I have decided to order something through the store, it has been an actual nightmare. Twice now, I've ordered something through one employee and told that it would be in in two weeks, only to come in two weeks later and be told that no one had written my name down and therefore didn't have the product I had asked for. I thankfully wasn't charged so I didn't have to go through that whole rigmarole. This last time though was the final straw. My brother-in-law ordered a 40k model for me for Christmas back at the beginning of December and was told that it should be in by Christmas. Christmas came and went, no model. We checked with them and they said "Oh sorry, we place all the orders at once and we just placed them this last Tuesday (sometime at the end of December) and it should now come in in about two weeks." Okay, fair enough. Holidays are kind of crazy so we understood. Cut to today, the 31st of JANUARY and what do we get when we check in today? "Oh sorry, the whole Aeldari range is out of stock." Why is that a problem you might ask? Because they decided to finally order them TODAY! Lousy service and I will not be returning barring an extreme circumstance. I'll be checking out one of the other stores in Fresno that actually care to place an order on time.

Such a great spot, and I love the name! I've been looking for a good game store near Modesto and I found it! Staff was friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. Felt great to chat with them, and unlike a lot of stores I have visited elsewhere, there was no immediate bias towards specific companies, manufacturers or products.. none of the 'if we don't have it, it isn't important' that I have run into with several other smaller footprint stores. Bravo guys, it's awesome. Keep it up 🙂

I've placed several orders/product releases online without fail but this is the second time an order I placed goes missing or can't be found. The first time really hurt because the price of that item skyrocket after the fact. So, I couldn't afford to buy it aftermarket and crazy squirrel couldn't replace it.

The second time is an in-store item. They don't have it, nobody knows what happened it to it.

This store really portays itself as a responsible and diligent store and I believe it..stuff like this still happens and things aren't perfect. I guess

It sucks, but these items are expensive and I'm beginning to second guess my purchases and reservations.

I had so much fun with my friends and their daughters. Tons of games to play at the tables and for purchase. Staff helpful over the phone prior to coming as well as in person. Very knowledgeable about the products and respectful. Highly recommend.

Cool, clean shop with a nice selection of board games and other cool stuff that i like. Not a complaint against the store but the customers inside had zero social awareness of personal space

Best game store in Fresno! If you're feeling squirrelly this is the place to get your game on! They have an awesome selection, they even have the latest party games! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a big gaming area too.

Helpful and friendly staff as always. They have a wide selection of board games and their MTG stuff is less expensive than other game stores around.

For the ladies, they have feminine products in the bathroom. If you're hanging out and end up needing something, they have you covered. I just thought that was generous and very thoughtful of them.
